Who We Are
|
"Our family of clans was born to protect the gay and lesbian community who are persecuted daily. We will end this injustice...fabulously."
We are more than a social activism family. We just happen to be gay and proud. Our other non-gay members like the glitter and silliness that the world has grown to love.
Above all, we are a clan family who is active, loyal and entrenched in welcoming all to have fun with fellow Clashers. |
Why We Are Fabulous

Of course we are fabulous but you may not yet know why.
Here's a few reasons:
- We welcome everyone to our family who is civil and likes to have fun.
- We donate, donate and donate. Then we donate more. Even newbies donate their hearts out and, inturn, more established members provide them with high-level troops so they can mature quickly.
- We come from all parts of the world. The United Nations would be proud of our clan members.
- We support each other through strategic and tactical advice and provide the resources to fortify each member's village and our clans.
- We spread our glittery cheer by dressing up our Barbarian Kings in drag and preparing them for the next circuit party. |
What We Give
|
We are focused on giving troops, advice and support to elevate the strength of our family.
- When a request for troops appears, the request is fulfilled quickly...with the troops you request.
- During Clan Wars preparation, we give our most junior players the strongest, most leveled-up troops. Dragons, Wizards and Archers are our default donated troops.
- We promote loyalty, stability and maturity.
- We stop, collaborate and listen when a member asks for help--and then we deliver.
- We promote based on generosity, kindness and dedication to improving the family. |
Gay and Proud Family Structure
|
The Alpha (original) clan, Gay and Proud, is for those who have proven they are committed to the clan family's goals. Because the Alpha clan has been the target of frequent homophobic attacks, it is invite only.
The Beta (feeder) clan, Gay and Proud 2, is for those of all levels, gay or straight. After meeting the Beta clan requirements, the family's Leaders, Co-Leaders and Elders will nominate those for promotion to the Alpha clan or be promoted within the Beta clan if Alpha clan requirements are not met.
The Gamma (pre-feeder) clan will be established once the Beta clan reaches capacity. |
Clan and Promotion Requirements
|
All who wish to join the Gay and Proud Family first join the Beta clan, Gay and Proud 2.
The current leadership is:
- Leader: BHPFR ME (Level 67)
- Co-Leaders: ash (Level 63) and MattyC (Level 57)
- Elders: Luber (Level 48) and Saezid (Level 44)
We ask potential members to meet the following minimum requirements or be working to attain them:
- 100 donations per season
- Level 4 Town Hall
- Level 3 Archer
- At least 2 stars per Clan War
- Participation in weekly Clan Wars
- 18+ years old, but may make exceptions particularly to those gay and questioning youth who seek a safe place
After several seasons, leadership will nominate members for promotion to the Alpha clan or, if the Alpha clan requirements are not met, leadership within the Beta clan.
The requirements to be promoted to the Alpha clan are:
- 1,200 trophies
- Level 7 Town Hall
- Level 4 Archer
- 500 donations per season |
Leaders, Co-Leaders and Elders

Leadership roles are earned after demonstrating commitment to the "pay it forward" philosophy.
What does this mean?
It means:
- Contributing your skills, advice and troops.
- Exhibiting loyalty.
- Serving the clan family with humility (i.e., no expectation/entitlements or requesting to be promoted).
- Working together to strengthen each aspect of the clan family.
- Participating in the clan family forum and in-game chat. |

Question: I am not gay, but I support the reason your clan family exists. Do I have to be gay and proud to join? I am straight and proud but still want to join.
Answer: Absolutely you can join! We are open to all. I hope you like sparkly Dragons!

First Clan War Preparation: Underway
The first clan war is here!
The clan is now invite only with an 800 trophy requirement which will be increased to 1000 after the first war. The trophy requirement will increase by 100 each season.
It doesn't matter if you're gay, straight, black, white, or a penguin.
