The Machine Gun. TH9 Anti Hog/Giant Farming Base.

Changed the first layout. i did not get expected results of my first base.
so i tried another one.. tested it, been to masters and now farming in crystal1. got results as expected.
already counting down the days at th9 (last 4 cannons to max defense)

OBJECTIVE: to protect loot especially the precious DE to other farmers.

FEATURES:
**Centralized/Evenly Distibuted:
====Archer Tower
====Wizard Tower
====Tesla
**Many compartment
**Anti
====Hog
====Giant
====Balloons
**Spaces for traps and double giantbombs
**Storages have seperate compartments

DEFENSE LOG CONDITION (posted below):
**farming DE at 2600-2300 just goes up and down from here
**always MAX Loot available in my base
**DE stayed 100k++
**still at 100k as of 7.23.2014 (waiting for next AQ upgrade)

i will try to hit crystal II above. most of my def logs are TH snipes. i always make the loot in my base never go down at 300k and DE is at 1.5k.

I would switch the two more exposed ADs with the defences near them (mortar and cannon), so they're not so vulnerable - but other than that, solid base! :)

I would argue 4 maxed teslas are more valuable to a TH9 trophy base than 2 maxed X Bows.

yes you are right. for a TROPHY base. but this is a farming base so im using teslas for distraction on giants and also to keep those hogs not getting to the core. but i think i might consider tweaking it to make the teslas inside the core. just to make the DE more safe. veterans are too eager on my DE. :(

Overall, I think it looks like a good base. I would just try to make the CC more centralized. It is your best defense :rolleyes:

centralized cc doesnt work at crystal league. they act as "vaccuum" luring enemy troops at the center. those two air defs at the center were CC and AQ. (the result can be seen at the bottom of the def log)

some just ignore it (thinking the cc doesnt have any troops). eventually destroys their raid

My base is centralized CC. It always has been. and I always farm in crystal league :D

Sorry but your cc can either be lured and destroyed beforehand, or still used as a magnet to pull troops in.

you see thats also the reason why did not centralized my cc. know why? all serious attacks starts where the CC is at. (some starts at the TH). Hope you get the hint.

see def logs. the only thing that touch my precious DE was the lvl4 dragons and the Lightning spell. (note that i have the AQ and CC before the airdef was there). after changing, i got good results. centralizing CC is not always advantageous.
