Hello, and thank you for expressing interest in ChAoS. I am Black Eagle, creator and co-leader of ChAoS. We are an invite only clan requiring a minimum of 800 trophies to join. We currently are 15 members strong, with an age range of 12-48 ( I am 45). Our ideal clan size will be between 20 and 30 members. Our clan has been in existence for 1.5 months, and continuously evolves. Key to our success is activity and communication. We have several members who play EVERY DAY, and while not a requirement for membership, frequent play and contributions are. Before asking us to consider you for membership, make sure you are willing to do and accepting of the following:
1. Be active. As stated above, several members play every day. While every day is not required, once or twice a week is not enough to retain membership. We play seriously even though it is a game. If you are going to be MIA, you must inform leadership, and if a war falls during your absence you will be asked to resign, with the option to return after the war ends.
2. Participate in chat. This IS a social game. We want YOU in our clan, not just your trophy level. Chat is our main means of communicating due to the limited means of communication in the game. We do consider your participation in chat as an aspect of retaining membership, and for advancement. Chat is a necessary means of building our clan's bond, as well as developing stratagies, and of course, donating troops.
3. Donate troops. Troop donation is essential to the success of all clan members, and the clan as a whole. If in the course of a season you donate 10 troops but accept 200, you are not playing as a member of the clan and you will be asked to resign your position. If you refuse, you will be kicked out. A clan, by definition, is a family or group of people with a common interest. Our common interest is not to make one member successful. but to be one of the best clans in the game.
4. Participate in wars. As of June 9, 2014 we will engage in war once a week, at least. All wars will be announced, currently through clan email. If you are on the war clan roster, you are expected to participate, not only in the war but also in the preparation day war council, or make arrangements with leadership to be informed of war strategies. During this council attack strategies will be planned, and all members will be expected to adhere to war plans. Please note that leadership will occasionally allow more members into the clan than can participate in the wars. This is how we stimulate intraclan competition. Since the game does not allow selection of war members beyond trophy levels, we have created our own selection process. If a player is deemed ineligible for war due to inactivity, or offset troop donations/receiving, or not participating in chat, they will be asked to resign until the end of the war at which point they may rejoin the clan. The reason for this action is war loot. All successful attacking members of the war clan are eligible for bonus loot. If, in regular play, you cannot support your clan within these guidelines you are not worthy of potential war loot gains. If a member chooses not to resign, they will be kicked out, and ineligible to return to the clan. If a period of absence will include a war, the member must resign or be kicked out.
5. Do not ask for promotion. We promote based on loyalty, participation, donations, and war performance. Asking for promotions will get you kicked out. Our leadership is fair and consistent, and play within the guidelines set forth here.
This is how ChAoS plays the game. If this appeals to you please submit an invite request so we may consider you. We are a serious clan, hoping to be one of the best in the game. But most importantly we have fun with each other. Allow us to consider you for membership.
