Does the th10 dark elixir benefits vs th9 even out In higher leagues?

Players barch/Bam/ use farming troops (with lightning spells sometimes) so let's say you are a th10 with their base inside hold a higher chance of dark elixir loss as opposed to a th9 with their th outside farming for dark elixir? This question really arises as there seems to be some myth that th10's can't lose dark elixir. As a th9 farming dark I seem to lose roughly 4k or less per week from just lightning spells alone and I always have 3k or more on offer. So does the extra defenses(inferno towers) really outweigh the loot penalty you lose as th10 can easily lose dark as bad as th9 if not even worse. What do you guys think?

I have my Th inside and have been farming around C1 /M3 for about 2 weeks now, not had anyone zap me yet, cups are getting too important and Dark is way more plentiful, so players don't need to resort to such rubbish tactics.

Also If I see a Th7 I 3* crush them cause I think they are probably up here to zap and snip, although without an exposed Th they don't even seem to revenge 👍

As far as getting my dark tank smashed for the 3k that is always available; yeah sure it happens, but nowhere close to as much as when I was Th9. IT's a very powerful defence towers indeed.
