This is the same thing as big stores checking your receipt as you leave to "make sure there are no mistakes". I. E. Stealing. Instead of dealing with those who steal they treat everyone like a crim. easier that way. I don't let it happen to me at the store and I'm sure as heck going to voice my opinion about here.

how long have you been playing this game? There was a time when huge chunks of players were using methods both technological and mechanical to stay online 24/7. Those ♥♥♥♥♥s were the reason the personal break was introduced in the first place. It doesn't affect us too badly in the lower leagues but high up in the leader boards there were people who were going weeks and weeks on end without logging off. The players up there have a hard enough time finding someone to raid without most of the top players effectively removing themselves from matchmaking. SC did something about a bad situation, everyone else just needs to deal with it.

Yup. The masses get punished for the sake of a few people up top. That's a great way to deal with things.

Other game companies have ways to detect this that doesn't effect everyone. SC is being lazy.

When valve first released the random hat drop for team fortress two some people put up servers so people could stay logged on for a better chance to get a hat.

Guess what? Valve knew who did this and who didn't and they only punished the ♥♥♥♥♥ers. Well, actually they have the non ♥♥♥♥♥ers a nice hat but same. They knew and did something without messing up everyone.

But hey, it must take a lot to count those millions sc makes a day. No wonde they can't do this right, or fix airplane mode ♥♥♥♥♥ or the other issues. But yeah, sure, I'm a bad guy for pointing out it can be done and SC refuses to do it. Rolls eyes

I haven't finished reading the thread, but I just couldn't resist pointing out the irony of a supposed grown ♥♥♥ man threatening to get the authorities involved over a video game. Also, regardless of age, the sheer hilarity of the idea of contacting the AG's office because a game forced you to log off is just too much.

You think you want to rant? Imagine the people at the AG's office who have to listen to entitled brats like you all day complaining about lost trophies and loot in a video game!

Actually you do make some good points at times. You're a "bad guy" because your general tone and attitude are disrespectful and rude to just about everyone who disagrees with you.

Also, "pointing out what can be done", and SC "refusing to do it" are hilarious oversimplifications of things you likely know very little about. This is why there is so much pushback against your posts. I'm not defending SC, I'm attacking poor logic and manners in your posts. SC could improve a ton of things in this game, and also their customer service. They should be held accountable, and we should give them feedback both positive and negative. I just don't like or agree with how you go about expressing your opinions.

it was a lot more than "a few" people and it wasn't just trophy hunters. There were lots of farmers doing it as well to protect their resources. Back then you lost a lot fewer resources to a three star raid as well, so you can be guaranteed if they removed this feature rampant abuse would pop up almost overnight and spread like wildfire. Look how fast airplane mode took off once there was a more important use for it than practicing revenges. Its human nature to take the faster easier route even if its less ethical. You can pinkie swear you wont ♥♥♥♥♥ all you want, the fact is its going to happen. I support anything that makes it harder for the ♥♥♥♥♥ers even if it inconveniences me a little.
