DE problems...

So ima th7 just got the DE storage, and im silver1, but im having trouble finding players with a decent amount of DE, so i have no idea what to do besides gem my barb king, but who would do that? So the overall question of this:

What is the most efficient way for a th7 to get dark elixir?

i mean, i dont nessicarily need the barb king, but it would make me more intimidating. And this wont only help me but other fellow th7 DE newbies. Thank you for your help, i am looking forward to being powerful. Thanks again, goodbye, peace out.

In order to get the dark elixir necessary to buy a barb king, you need to push higher, like gold 1-2 high. I was able to farm 4 levels of my barb king (as a th 8, but it should be the same for th 7) there, by lightning-spelling DE storages.

P.S. I know its a rotten thing to do, but it gets the job done.

First things first, go to a higher league. DE should be a common thing in the gold league. You should be able to collect 10,000 de EZ!!

by dropping 5 bucks =p

but otherwise ya the higher you go in trophies the more DE you can find. you dont HAVE to lightning it but it prolly helps to use all lightning spells while you farm for it up their as when you find a 1500+ de base you have no chance of beating you can use them then.

Just learn how to read a DE drill as you dont want to use you'r lightnings on the storage if it's in the drills. A- you wont get much and B- you can take out the drills with barch.

The higher you go, the more you find. try sniping to gold 1 and going for easy DE storages

I found lots of DE at around 1600+ trophies, at TH7.

Go for raids that have 500+ DE. You will have a lvl5 BK and lvl2 minions/hogs in no time.
I was personally going for 1000+ DE raids with mass lvl2 dragons and 3 lvl4 rage spells.

I think a wiser use of your DE at your point in the game would be to lvl your DE troops, minions and hogs, I didnt really start farming DE till mid TH8, was busy with defenses and lvling lix troops. I wouldnt worry about barb king that early myself.

Go to 1600+ with a barching army. You will often find easy DE storages with 1k+ DE. You should be able to get that king very fast. As for when you are off for awhile, or sleeping, train a nice big giant + wizard composition.

You could use lightning spells like others suggested, or you can try going for exposed drills and storages. I did a mixture of both, had my army AND my spells with me all times, so when I see a storage I know I can't take, I lightning it; but if I find one that I know I can take, I use my army. The army consists of a couple giants to meat shield, some wallbreakers to get through layers of walls in order to get the DE. Some goblins, to steal it all, and some archers and barbarians for some background damage.

For me, I hung around 1200-1400, but from what I hear, Gold League is better.

casual playing or hardcore boosting and all of that. 6 months has multiple amounts of progress.

So since Monday ive been getting 2.1k DE in 4h, for 3 days. Thats 6k. And today's the last day of school (for me) and we get a nearly dismissal, which is 3 more hours to get DE, so by my calculations, i will arrive at Burger King (get the barb king) tonight! Woohoo!
