My go to is obviously hogs, but clans are starting to wise up and implementing pesky anti hog bases. Unfortunatly for me, my lack of skill prevents me from successfully attacking with other attack strategies. This is where you come in.
I need some other attack strategies. Recommend me some effective strategies that will help to attack an anti-hog base.
Feel free to be as detailed as you'd like.
FYI - All troops maxed except Valk and BK (8)
Use Mass Drags ^_^ With all 3 rage spells

as recommended by palalay, do mass drags. I myself is a th8 and when im tired of using hogs lvl 4 with heal spells, i'd go for drags lvl 3 with 3 rage spells. its also nice if you have a drag in your cc as it will help out a lot. no need to lure the cc troops because it would be to your advantage because the drags will attack the cc troops and most likely that is the direction heading to the center where the TH is.
Before CW I was always using BARCH and had little experience with other strategies. At first I used mass dragons in CW but I found another strategy that works better.
I use 18 giants, 20 wizards, 6 wb and 18 archers. Use 1 giant to empty cc and deploy wb at same time. lure cc troops and bk into a corner and surround with archers and use my cc troops - arch/wiz to destroy them. If necessary I drop 1 or 2 wizards to finish the job. As soon as that's done deploy giants over the breach and drop 2 wizards to make a hole in the outer layer of buildings. Drop a heal spell to cover the giants and then drop the rest of the wizards. Usually I take 3 heal spells and I deploy bk outside the walls.With my strategy I consistently get 2 star and 80% damage against other th8 bases and can get 3 stars if I manage my time well. This does require some skill however but I see that as a good thing to develop.
I find this works better than mass dragons which are unpredictable. My base is a mid-th8 and I've been hit with mass dragons many times. Usually for 2 stars, sometimes 1 and once I even won a defence against 10 lvl 2 dragons- I had a good laugh at that one. Usually mass drags are good for 1-2 stars but 3 stars is extremely rare. It doesn't require much skill so if your not interested in developing your skills then it is your best option.
one question though...are you attacking bases with higher th level? There are no really effective th8 anti-hog bases so hogs should be effective. You really do need to take the time to lure the cc though. A witch or a couple of wizards left in the cc can really make a mess of a hog raid.
Bloonion! Cheaper than drags more predictable and just as effective against th8 and below.
Big fan of bloonions, you just have to be choosy with who you go after. They can take down most TH 8 and some lower level 9s. I go with 29 balloons, 25 minions, and 5 archers (to help draw out and take down cc troops). 2 rage and 1 heal for spells. Good way to save yourself DE too...Quote:

Just make sure to lure cc completely and take them out. keep count of troops that come out bc wizards can ruin your day.
MASS DRAGS all the way! I'm a th8 and I can 2-3 star any th8 or below. It is also a definite 1 star on most th9s if done right. I got 3 stars on a decent th9 who didn't protect ADs enough.
