Hello clashers!
It's another Upgrade question.
I have beat 8mio Gold right now and I'm not sure what to spend them on.
Should I spend them on a Wizard Tower lvl7? Or 2 mortars to lvl? Or the X bow to lvl2?
My base (yeah, wasn't wise to upgrade all air defenses at the same time) :

I would honestly upgrade a X-Bow and then pile enough resources for the second until got them to level 3 at the same pace.
Usually I'll upgrade stuff that's inside my core .. Which is xbow and mortar . For my th9 .. I max my bow 1st then follow by mortar and wiz .. U don't wanna upgrade all mortar at 1 go that's for sure . Mix mortar n wiz alternately to upgrade ..
I would upgrade xbows.
Also urgently upgrade your teslas.....they become very powerfull and are cheap. Level 7 only costs 3.5 m.
It always hurts me a bit to see people with low level teslas.
Well, it's a great questions, but it's about what you are going to get raided of most.
For me, Xbow lvl 2 don't do specially much than lvl 1 and the same with the lvl 7 Mortar
I will do lvl 7 Wizard Tower that lvl 7 Wiz Tower can take Lvl 6 Archers out in first hug without anything can stop it ;)
Level wiz towers first since lvl 7 wiz towers can 1 hit max archers

Get your wizard towers to lvl 7,xbow looks nice but not that strong until lvl3.
Xbow takes long time to upgrade and it's hard to gather that amount of gold to upgrade it .. When u have full storage gold . It's it wise to upgrade xbow to max 1st .. Wiz it's cheaper and it's Easier to upgrade .. Keep upgrading the bow till lvl3 and u will see the use of it ..
wiz tower can 1 hit kill archers but archers ain't going to stand there to let wiz tower hit , when wiz tower hit lock at giant or heroes . Some archers will take down wiz tower fast ..
There is no right or wrong way here . Sooner or later u will need get all of them max out . For me , max bow is priority . It's the main tower inside my core :) And it's the unique tower for th9 .. Just like th10 , when u reach th10 . U will want to max infernos 1st but not wiz tower :)

Technically I am not answering your question, but I would spend it on your clan castle first
Rationale:
- It is the strongest defense there is (assuming it is filled)
- It is the only defense that still works while you are upgrading it
- It is also good for offense
After that I would go fo Xbows level 3 (you need them now with your air defense out of order)
I agree with the clan castle. Personally for defense I went, WT, Xbow, then last (after everything else) mortar.
Side note, what is everyone's adversion to upgrading multiple splash or ADs at the same time? Sure it makes you weaker for a bit, but with nothing in storage who cares?
I guess it is written somewhere and then other people just copy paste it, altough multiple ADs would be slightly uncomfortable to me (especially at TH8 without x bow)Quote:

I would do mortars or wiz tower.
This is the way I'm upgrading my defenses. Partly because I was able to upgrade two mortars at once.
1. Mortars
2. Xbows
3. Wizard Towers
Level 7 mortars dont 1 shot anything significant that a level 6 mortar can't so I will happily save mortars until the later stages of TH9.
I'd say do WT first for the reason already stated (1 shot max archers).
Followed by teslas since they do insane dmg, xbows since they're pretty weak at 1-2, archer towers, and cannons. Do air defense when you feel you can't defend well enough against air attacks. Personally I think 4 level 6 AD is enough make them a lower priority.
PS: this upgrade priority is assuming everything is at least max th8 strength. Make sure you catch up anything that is behind before the TH9 level upgrades.
