Idea gold mines and elixir drills

Hey guys,

First off, I have a question. As your mines/drills fill, do you lose as much to attacks as you would if it was in your storage? I was under the impression that you lose less when it's not in a storage unit. Because of this I like to keep my gold and elixir in my mine/drill as long as i can or until I need it. So, I was thinking it would be awesome if the background of the little icon above the mine/drill would fill as it fills with resources, kind of like when you're max capacity it fills with red. This would give some indication as to when your respective resource nears its capacity. Or maybe being able to click on them without looting your resources so you can check the info.

Now if you actually lose the same amount regardless of the location, then this is a moot point.

If I am correct, half of whats in your collectors (Mines, pumps and drills) can be raided, whereas in storages it is 10%, im not too sure on that figure though, but then it peaks and you can only be raided a certain amount of loot. Also when raiding you can already see whether collectors are full, if you go do a raid and see the box next to the gold cart and it is full, then there is a lot of loot within, with dark elixir the box compartment on top contains dark elixir and that shows whether its full and then for elixir pumps look at how much liquid elixir is inside the pump

So basically I got it backwards. I should pull my loot as much as possible to get it in the storage.

Yes it is much better to put loot in the storages. If you ever see big raids when you attack, it means that most of their loot is in their collectors. Happy clashing!
