Allow heroes to be used while being upgraded!

What bothers me about upgrading heroes isn't the high amounts of dark elixir or the time, but rather the fact that they can't be used while upgrading. This makes clan war attacks and often regular raids much more difficult for me. Allowing heroes to be used while upgrading would not negatively affect Supercell, as people would still have to buy the same amount of gems to max them out. However, it would really help players like me that don't like not having a hero for 3 clan wars straight because it is upgrading.

Overall, Supercell wouldn't lose any money, but the game would become much more enjoyable.

I really believe heroes should be available for Clan Wars - because the matchmaking formula considers their level. I always get rated my clans highest TH9 for heroes 20+. Regardless of upgrading or not. If they are upgrading I'm really been punished.

Also considering defenses work regardless of upgrade it is nonsense heroes cannot be used to attack as well.

For normal play, I'd love to have them available there too. It would make the game more enjoyable and help encourage strong players to compete in higher leagues where they are capable of.

But if we could have only one, I would want them in Clan Wars and leave them as they are in normal play.

Actually they would, today I just spent 100 gems to finish off my BK for CWs which I would've waited if it wasn't for CWs so they wouls have just lost 100 gems spent.

Pretty sure if you didn't spend them on your barb king you would have spent them somewhere else. No one hoards gems. Besides, I'm talking about people who spend thousands on maxing out their heroes, not just a guy that removed a few gem boxes.
