Xbow: Ground or Air?

Hi,

ive been asking this question to myself for a while, and wanted a perspective from some of the TH9 players with xbows.

I'd prefer mine targeting ground, as most attacks compose of ground troops. (Unless you're Jorge Yao).

Dragons: Good air defence

Healer: Centered air defence

Minion: Air bombs

Balloons: Who even uses those fat blimps?

Ground only. Minions are killed by air bombs and wizard towers. I dont have crossbows btw, i'm th8:(.

I don't either, but I think I'd pick that from what I know.

If you put Xbow near mortar or wizard tower it's better set it to air mod ( lesser firing for mortars and wizards tower) and since new updates m the minions avaible is a more reason to set Xbow at air mode

You get 2
Set 1 to ground and 1 to air

Depend on layout and defense placing!

Scroll through your last 50 defenses, count the number of dragon attacks and minion swarms. If this is more than 30% of attacks I would set to air, otherwise, set to ground.

It takes ages to kill a dragon with a crossbow.

I always keep one just on the ground and then keep one on air and ground.
