I wasn't 100% sure from Nick's post, but I tested it by visiting a level 95 player and taking a couple of their visitors and I managed to serve them OK.
Not sure whether it's a small enough bug to have been fixed that quickly or whether it's going to be a massive re-work and I was just lucky...
Doesn't seem to have been addressed. I lucked out the first time, but the second time was not the charm.
I wonder if it's been fixed. The first time my daughter took one of my visitors, she couldn't serve him because he wanted lemon cake and she's not at that level yet, but ever since then she's been able to help them all. It seems to have been fixed.
Nope. I am level 61 and it asked for level 65, 66 stuff. Ticked off i wasted a train trip. Well annoyed a little, not ticked.
Nope. Still facing that bug. And it annoys me.
Yeah I'm afraid I found out the hard way that it hadn't. Decided to test it again and now I've got a visitor stuck in my diner wanting lemon cake. I'm on an iphone and he's in the first slot so I can't get rid..
I don't get it at all. It shld be a fairly simple routine for programmers. This is a major issue for every neighborhood, especially if you are at the lower end level wise. It limits unteraction for lower level players, and penalizes upper level one who don't get visited in return.
This should have been a number one priority and instead seems to be ignored. I'm very ticked off about it, and won't be upgrading my train again until its fixed. I refuse to waste materials just to be stuck visiting only one other person in my neighborhood because supercell refuses to fix a pb they created.
Hi folks. They believed this was fully fixed in the maintenance yesterday (this WAS the top priority). Looks as if it is fixed for many but it's not fully fixed for all. I'll let them know.
I'm also on an iPhone. The game no longer auto centers so you should be able to scroll the town to the right and gain access to the first slot that way. It works for me.Quote:

STILL not fixed! That's inexcusable. Did FV buy HD, cause this is EXACTLY what id expect from that game and one of the reasons I quit playing it....no sense of concern for or care about the frustrations of the players ( those would be the annoying folks shelling out rl dough on the game). Getting this bug fixed should be a top priority. There is no point in upgrading your train if you can only pick up from one lower lvl person over and over.
I have unlocked everything so haven't experienced this for myself, but my lower level neighbors all report that this is still a problem.
Odd that this was supposed to have been fixed in that mini-update, but apparently has not been.
That's harsh. You're not sitting in the room with the developers and none of us know how complex this fix will be. Yes it's a little bit frustrating, I've got someone stuck in the diner, but it's only a game dude. Put the kettle on and relax. :)Quote:

You are correct, I don't know what its like at hd. However, I have an IT background which includes programming, and I DO know if set up correctly, it should not be a big deal to trap the player level and handle "orders"accordingly. It tells me their parameters for what each level can do were not tight to begin with and that left them unprepared for the addituon of the new town.Quote:

EDIT: I was told that they looked into this and found that it's only happening on lower level devices. I've not been told if it's a memory issue or some other interplay with the game and the lower level devices that causes this.
I haven't noticed that the placement of the building in the town has anything to do with it.
Three slots, first position, can't access the rotate or see all the products. iPhone 4s.
