I am a TH 9 and have my elixer storages full. I'm wondering if I should upgrade the archer to lvl6. The DPS only raises by 2 and health by 4. Is it worth the elixer to upgrade?

If you use them a lot, yes.
Keep in mind that increase is per archer. So if you have 80 Archers, that's an additional 160 damage per second in a raid, and an additional 240 health per raid. Might not seem like it's worth it per single archer, but in groups the upgrade is worth it.
Depends how often you use archers, and also could be used as a tool to recruit, which I do not recommend... for the most part. They WILL survive lvl 5 mortars, btw.

Second that. I am Town Hall 9 too but at the moment, not at the lvl to max my archer(currently lvl 5 archer).
However, I have maxed my barbarians and is a significant improvement as my farming troops is commonly BARCH. Normally I will bring along 100-110 barbarians,is a force to reckon in swarm attack.
Judging from their looks, yes! Who doesn't like the tiara? (Nah!)
Add in a heal or two and the enemy will be traumatised for the rest of his CoC life.Quote:

Level 5 mortars and level 6 wiz towers can no longer one-hit kill max archers. I am very happy with them.Quote:
