I just wanted to double check,but can I log in to GC on a new phone and play my old CoC village without losing everything on the original phone?
My buddy is gonna be deployed for 6 months and I was going to load up his CoC on an extra iPhone i had laying around, will this be possible without messing it up on his phone?

I believe the real intent of SC's statement is more about people losing their accounts and them (SC) not wanting to be responsible. You are rolling the dice if you don't have your TH connected to a GC account and don't have it backed up on a 2nd device (such as an IPAD or something).
