Some Goblin Changes and a new Troop, the Stinger!

So....

The Troop I am going to propose today... is called the Stinger.

These fearsome insects love their Elixir! Release a horde of them and come back with sacks of loot!

It looks like a wasp, and attacks with its stinger. It is an aerial troop, like the minion, that targets resources as well. However, it only targets Elixir. They just love the sweet-smelling scent of the sticky purple stuff.

Stinger = Aerial Elixir-Embezzler

It is unlocked at Dark Barracks, in TH 7, along with the Minion.

The Stinger changes its body colour per upgrade, from yellow to orange, green, blue, red and purple.

Attracted to elixir? Yes please! I like the idea how it doesn't just go to random sh:rolleyes:t, but elixir. Ha, I support this idea!

100 DE for a lvl5 flying goblin, that ONLY steals elixer? Hahaha NOOOO THANKS. A goblin is good because its cheap and does what you want it to, why make them worse and introduce another troop we dont need AND make it cost so much DE. Sorry OP, its a no from me, you arent going to Hollywood...

Ok....

I have reduced costs.

Maybe this troop should be elixir based? I don't know. All I know that there should be another resource-targeting troop.

Plain and simple, Goblins dont need to be changed, they are very effective how they are now if used correctly.

Ok then, would we like it to target all resources, and the goblin to do so as well?

So the stinger is just an aerial goblin with slightly better stat?

I'm not sure why you would even make them that much in the first place? A lvl 5 stinger costs almost as much as 2 level4 hogs?! Thats crazy expensive. I think you should drop the idea altogether. There is nothing wrong with gobs, they do what they do perfectly.

edit: they are still wayyy too expensive to be used for farming.

I love the idea of a unit only attracted to gold or elixir
let the goblins be, and let him attack both

just introduce new units that do 3x damage (slightly lower base damage compared to gobs) to gold/elixir

and maybe 1 troop for DE too, but there's only few DE loot structure (3 drills 1 storage)

Please read last comment. They could be perfectly fine targeting all resources and leaving goblins alone.

I just generally think we don't need another goblin unit, they are fine how they are now, and if i had a say on a new troop it definitely wouldn't be a resource troop.

There are too many defence targeting-troops.
Any other targeting troops are OP or useless.
