If true this is pretty bogus. Makes sense though since its an underhanded way to keep resources out of the game and encourage gemming. Shocker!!!
Are we going to have to stop telling people to move their storage and mines away from their base? :(
I had 2 lvl3collectors but I mean people at that trophy level would go for the townhall not how much loot you got in your collectors
A friend from GC hasn't play in a lot of time. When I visit him, everything is exactly the same way it was.
There have been suspicions in the past about this kind of thing happening. More proof on the matter is needed, but it is theorized that dead accounts get phased out.
Honestly, i think it is a bit unwise to jump to the conclusion that this is some terrible thing that Supercell is doing. When you think about, this game has been out since June of 2012 (full release in August), so the number of dead accounts in existence is surely quite large. If they just left all these dead accounts in there, loot would be so easy to come by that upgrade costs would be negligable. By phasing them out, they are actually protecting part of the challenge of the game.
Two level three mines and collectors at 1500 each is 3000. Only 50% available to looters therefore only 1500 gold and elixir available to someone of the same TH. At that level people dont have to skip villages to find a good match therefore you village is at the back of the Que and not "invisible"
Duh!
While it is certainly true that his account wouldn't be a prime target, that is not an adequate explanation of what is going on. As you can see in the battle logs, the attacks were coming at normal intervals, and then suddenly just stopped. It is somewhat unrealistic to say that this effect occurs solely based on the would be attackers.
Yes they probably stopped around the time when loot penalties were increased. The battle before the last was 100% for 250 coins and elixir.
So with the increase in penalty the loot available would drop even lower. With Less trophies available and even less loot even noobs wouldnt attack it. Therefore it would fall to the back of the Que and not even trophy droppers would see it.
