When do teslas start to get good?

Upgrade them and no one can go wipe your base :)

IMO, level 6...simply because when you attack a TH8 (as a TH8 with level 5 troops) you'd hardly ever expect to see level 6 Tesla's pop up and decimate your army.

If you have 5 builders, this is what I would suggest, and is what I did myself;

Have 4 builders on tesla in succession, all the while leaving the other builder to do walls. I knocked out nearly all my walls to lvl 8 in the time it took to do max tesla ---- Worth it.

Few months on, haven't had a single regret doing it ;)

Teslas are pretty awesome, early on the are pretty expensive and they have a really long upgrade time, like everything else tho, placement is key. As it is the smallest building in the game they can really be used quite effectively. Don't neglect them.

Teslas are great defence an other than single inferno do more dps than any other defensive building so well worth time an cost of getting them upgraded! For me they seemed to get going around lvl 4-5.

Whilst i think cost an time are big factors in why players often neglect upgrading this defence i also think the fact theyre hidden plays a part as well. As a farmer i always wanted to put players off launching an all out attack on my base an stealing my resources but go for my TH for the cheap shield instead. I therefore prioritised the defences that had the biggest visual impact and made your base look tougher an more upgraded than it possibly was, for example the lvl 6 an 7 wiz towers were one of my priorities as the change to all pink/purple is something that i found caught my eye as an attacker.

Max Teslas are OP :rolleyes: Not saying they should get nerfed tho...

If max. Them asap sucks having to go from 1-6 in a single TH but I've finally done it!

Not even gonna explain, since many people have before me, but I'd just like to say... UPGRADE THEM. FULLY. TO THE MAX. You won't regret it, completely worh evey penny, those teslas are insanely strong at high levels, no PEKKAS ever stand a chance once they're maxed.
