Lightning Spell

I'm attacking a base that has three defenses side-by-side. There is a lvl 6 air defense between a level 6 mortar and level 6 wizard tower. I am TH 8 and thus have 3 spells only. I have little experience using lightning to take out towers, and I am struggling to find posts or videos that help with spell placement and radius. If I drop One spell on the air defense and then one on each side, will that take out all three? Any help or links are much appreciated. -RR

Drop all 3 on the middle defense and you just might get 2 --- many times I drop 3 on a mortar and the WT next to goes down also.

Lvl 5 lightning spell? It will take all 3 to take out the air defense. If you get aim slightly on the wiz tower side and you might get them all. Mortar doesn't have much hp

Are Level 5 Lightnings available to TH8s? If they are, I would think at most you would be able to take out 2 buildings, you'll be lucky if 3. Whatever building you want to take out, favor that side more whem you're placing spells.

It has a big chance depending on level and EXACTLY where you drop them

I have level 5 lighting spells and I think it could be done. The mortar has low HP, as somebody above me said.
