Level 4 Balloons versus Exposed Wizard Towers

In this episode of JTJU we delve into the details of an all out Level 4 Ballon attack versus a, basically, maxed TH8 Defense. Notable items discussed:

First thing, that isnt a maxed TH8.
Second thing, that was the worst loon attack ever

1. What a waste of time.. Preparing 8 minutes in such details.. And just look at the notes the guys made!!!!
2. What a waste of these lovely baloons... Or to say it polite: worse balloon attack i ever saw!!

100% agree! I was hopeful at first but then saw base and it was a NEW th8 and then how he diagrammed the attack i immediatly thought that it was going to be aweful

WOW, you put a lot of time into such a bad attack.

I hear ya, I hear ya. Can't help it ... I'm a analyst not a gut attacker. A couple changes since your comments on the "Mice and Men" format:

1. Shorter now - usually 3-4 mintues
2. We actually show the levels of troops and defense versus TH level - so no more misunderstanding / mistakes on how hard/easy the atk is.

See if the more current versions (I think we did one last week) ... seems better.

I don't understand, he wasn't maxed out. He was a new th 8 that just upgraded from th7. If you said max th7 that would make more sense. Also, the way you diagrammed the loon attack I thought it was going to be an awful attack.

Yup, I agree definitely misspoke there ... not TH8 ... In looking at it:

- Mortars Level 5 (TH7)
- Air Def Level 5 (TH7)
- Wiz Twrs Lvl 4 (TH7)
- Cannons Lvl 8 (TH7)
- etc

So, its a max TH7 based ... but I show that in summary view at 1:21 in ... as well as showing that the attacker (Shagarion) was attacking w/ TH7 troops. So while I mistyped about it in this thread ... i was aware of it in the planning. Basically its a tuff matchup ... equal troops/defense.

Relative to the attack plan, it looks more complex than it is ... basically you kill off the clan castle (steps A to C) ... and then release two groups of balloons at D/E and F/G. Sadly, the clasher we put this plan together for (keep in mind we do these as a learning exercise) forgot a most of the key steps ... primarily:

1. The vanguard/lead balloon on both groups so his both of his group of loons got hammered as he came in (unnecessary dmg to loon group).
2. The hog support w/ the F/G group didn't show letting the loons getting hammered longer than necessary.

Still TH7 loon attack versus TH7 base ... probably a bad idea to do a loon attack ... I would of been curious to see how it would of done w/ the lead loon. The hogs forgetting probably was moot as that big bomb was there.
