Please force collector upgrades

A lot of people only take from others by raiding, but never upgrade their own collectors. They consume but they don't give back to the community. This type of greedy play style causes the overall resources in the game to be much lower, and therefore, the average amount of available loot per raid goes way down for everyone. Maybe if only a small percentage of people were doing it, it wouldn't matter, but unfortunately more and more people are leaving their collectors unleveled.

Why should anyone upgrade? You get way more from raiding, so why bother right? Upgrading only makes you a bigger target. So maybe everyone should leave their collectors at a low level. Then we can all enjoy raids that don’t even pay for the army cost. :)

Well, I think Supercell should step in and help alleviate this problem by making upgraded collectors a prerequisite for other buildings. If you don’t want to upgrade, fine, but then you shouldn’t get all the other nice candies either.

This feature doesn't really make a sense..
The game is all about attacking other players and farming.
It comes down to the player's wish if he wants to upgrade his mines for more resources.

It makes perfect sense. Imagine if everyone was so greedy to never upgrade. Now the amount of recources in the game is so low, it takes you 100 or 500 raids to get that next building upgrade instead of just 10 or 20 raids. Imagine how long and borring the game would be. No one would play.

Well you don't have to imagin, because that is slowly where the game has been going. And it's going to keep going in that direction unless something is changed.

This idea sucks.

Good Idea! Much easier for farmers trying to get loot from collector raids.

A complete waste and a misguided concept.

People don't upgrade because they don't feel like they need to, but they think so because the loot from their raids seems to be enough for their purposes.

Of course, someone who raids AND upgrades his collectors will always be a step ahead in terms of resource income, so it's up to each player to decide what to do and there's no need to set them as requirements.

You want people not to take resources from you? Learn to defend. And it comes without saying that this game is not "going as you say".

It seems you are responding to things I didn't write. No where did I say I don't want people to take resources from me. I will say that when I attack other people, I notice I am getting less and less loot every week.

Thank you for posting your IGN. I can see that with only 4 mil "gold grab", you don't raid much, so you probably wouldn't notice any difference anyway.

I, on the other hand, do raid quite often, and I notice that the loot per raid has been going down the past few months and more and more bases have low level collectors.

Reasources are constantly being produced and spend.... As in there is no limit on the amount in game

I don't think some people get your idea, which I like.

Almost ALL of the gold in the game is created from gold mines, a tiny fraction is league bonuses and a smaller (guessing!) amount is purchased.

Imagine if all the Gold Collectors were low level and there was:
1,000,000,000,000 gold being created per day (one trillion) the number is clearly rubbish but I can't be bothered with the maths.

Now imagine that all of the Gold Collectors had never been upgraded and there was:
500,000,000,000 gold being created every day.

Now there's half as much loot sitting in collectors, there's less loot being dropped into storages.
So there's less loot that can be raided.

Low level collectors/mines/pumps hurts the community as a whole and hurts that player who has to raid more to make up for the missing loot.

If all collectors were upgraded higher (or produced more loot) there would be more loot available in game for us to raid for. It's pretty simple really.
