Unlimited Loot?!
Guys, something just cam to my attention via replay in my clan, I figured i would share here and ask a though provoking question.
A guy in my clan just raided a rinky dink townhall 8 and was doing his thing, when a healer popped out the clan castle, flew over to an area where a group of Archers were shooting an Elixir storage and started healing it. I watched the replay a couple of times and even when they brought it to low health it was still getting a decent stream of elixir, but then again that was hard to track because they were getting killed by a nearby cannon.
So my question is, as silly and irrelevant as it might be, if you somehow ran into someone with a healer by a say Gold/Elixir/De storage, and had a handful of troops shooting it, would that change the game mechanics as far as loot for that 1 in a million time, essentially giving you 'unlimited' loot for 3 minutes?
Obviously this is a 1 in a million scenario we are talking about, and the damage to heal ratio would have to be even. I'm just asking a question so please no obnoxious replies.
I'm level 103 Th9 Masters League 390M+ Gold Grab and 26-27 Lego Walls so I'm not a noob looking for gems/hakks or cheeets ♥♥♥♥ just thought it was really funny when I saw the replay

My clan has tested this out a few times on accident. Let's say you're attacking a collector with a couple of archers and an enemy healer pops out of the CC. What we've noticed is that after your troops (archers in this case) take the amount of elixir it normally would from the collector, it still takes more. That extra loot does not come out of thin air but instead comes from other collectors (and maybe storages).
A co-leader in my clan posted a replay of this exact scenario I explained above. He was attacking a newly inactive (assumed by the fact that the defender still had a healer in CC and the collectors were full). In this attack he simply spent the first couple of minutes watching the archers drain out most of the defender's total available elixir from just that one collector. He then proceeded to attack the other collectors. When he attacked the other collectors they still appeared to be full but only gave him the small amount of elixir that the defender still had to offer. In other words the attacker took about 80-90% of the elixir from that one collector and then when destroying the other 5 collectors he only got the rest and did not go over the amount available
In this replay I described there was too little if any in the storages for us to tell if it sapped resources from them too or just the other collectors.

building health =/= to amount of loot

I think this topic has been brought up a couple times before and I don't think it will give you anymore loot than it was intended to if there was no healer.

This has happened to me before, I sat there for the entire 2 minutes getting constant loot.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm sure there had to be a limit so thanks ĄDanglin for pointing that out. So what I'm gathering from you is that basically; If you attack someone with a healer or 2 in their clan castle (lol) thats coincidentally located right by their storages/pumps then u can drain most to all of that resource from that one building?
Guys i know this sounds silly but at th7ish people still request healers cuz giant healer is still sliced bread to those guys. So when they go afk the 1 in a million chances gets better of this crazy scenario happening lol

Do you mean it wont give you more total loot that whats allowed as in you start the match and see ..."200k" available in good or something, that it would just cut off like it does when u attack an empty storage on a collector raid? Or do u mean u only get whats allowed per storage container?

It's kind of complicated, and I'm really tired and don't want to go into detail, but basically no, it's not unlimited loot. It's part of a graphical glitch between healers and storages and how SC has programmed storage graphics to work based on the building's health and all that stuff.

This has been an interesting thread to read....i did not know about the "stealing all the loot from one collector" part....good to know how it works :D
