Hello,
I'm currently TH7 and have got level 2 Dark Barracks last week.
I'm finding it very hard to use the Hog Riders since their cost is very high and on TH7 you don't have a drill yet.
So, in your opinion TH7 dark elixir is abit useless, isn't it?
Let's say I use it on Clan-War, in about 10 HR. That's 400 DE, which is very hard to loot. Pretty useless I must say.

its not useless , its just rare.
*Try* to upgrade Barb King. That's what I do with my DE.
TH7 is where you save all your de to upgrade at least Minions and Barb King to level 2.
Don't waste the de on troops as a TH7, not worth it...

oh! and by the time i was in Crystal, since dark is not hard to find, i also had dark to use on troops... like baming to get that dark or even taking some ressource while sniping (cause that's the way you keep in range... no other way)
so having barb/arch lvl4 and minions lvl2 and could almost never dry up dark until i started another bk upgrade or that hogs research
just keep in mind you'll be atk for 100% and all ressources... even if your th is outside... or if you are Lucky and nothing to grab
