Idea to stop hoppers

I'm sure we are all familiar with the concept of a hopper, join your clan, take your troops then leaves, my suggestion is simple, when someone applies to be invited to your clan you can see the details of what they did in there previous clan, eg. Troops Donated/Troops received, or even take it further, see which troops they recieved/donated. This idea would dramatically decrease hoppers, because to get into good clans they would of needed a good influence in the last one. Any thoughts/ideas then comment. Thanks😃

Who cares? As long as my donations go up, hoppers can join as they please.

Really?? My clan gets loads of new people joining then taking high lvl troops and leaving, Doesn't that just annoy you?

Basically the "donate before requesting" rule mitigates this. A few troops shouldn't hurt, right?

On the other extreme, you have hoppers who donate for the "Friend in Need" achievement, sometimes donating goblins or wallbreakers to troll someone.

Yes, it annoyed me for approximately 3 minutes and 23 seconds.

Then I realised that it's a part of the game. Some people will always try to get something for nothing. Others enjoy doing things just because it annoys people and they get off on that. In the end, what does it cost me? 1 minute of my time and five archers. So what.

New clans that have their clan open for anyone to join have to put up with hoppers. Once you get over 30 members switch to invite only and the number of hoppers decreases dramatically.

And remember, hoppers aren't always going to be hoppers. They maybe, just maybe will decide that your clan is the one they've looking for and it's time to pay it forward. For every 20 hoppers, you get a new, generous, loyal member, so don't let it get to you.

Yea that is true but in between the 20 hoppers and the 1 a generous, loyal member you get 10 in actives who go on 5 mins every 3 days and only request.

Yes, but that's a completely different thread. Actually it's an issue more annoying than hoppers at times. I tend to call them leeches. They don't even have the decency to hop. Lol

We use the Friend in need acheivement as a deciding factor for whether someones request to join will be accepted or not. If they're an ok level TH but only have 3/4 figures in friend in need then they arent for us.

you'll never stop hoppers, if they choose to not stick around and join a community then its their loss though.

Hoppers are hoppers, if they join and request and leave, it is fine by me, because I just gain some xp, also when low level people join I ask them if they want troops before they leave, then boot them off to our brother clan!
