CEASE townhall picking, FIX CHAMP LEAGUE, & ending battle after 50%?
I've noticed that when high-lvl players are attacking, they will quickly end their battle after getting to 50%, and for a good reason... They want to preserve their heros health for the next raid/defense.
Now, there isn't really a problem with this, but what if the players were motivated to keep their heroes on the battle field, and NOT END IT.
Here's my idea: What if breaking the town hall is the only way to guarantee a win, but just the th won't gain you any trophies. It will just guarantee that you don't lose trophies. SO, say you come across a farmer with their th outside. Just picking the th will allow you to hit the 25% mark, and have a win. Here's what I mean:
Only achieving 25% will result in a loss, but the th+25% could result in 25% of the available trophies. This would make th picking almost useless. Only hitting 50% will get you 1/3 of the available trophies, as usual, but getting the th+50% will get you 50% of the available trophies. Just 75% will get you 1/3 of the available cups, as usual, but getting 75%+the th will get you 75% of the available cups.
For example: Say there are 30 trophies available.
The town hall is outside, they are farming.
You snatch the town hall, and earn 0 of the cups...
But why stop there?
So you continue raiding and you get to 25%. Now you have 7 cups.
Then you get to 45%, you still only gain 7 cups, but as soon as you get 50%, you now have 15 cups.
Now, you know you can't get to 100%, but you still have some good troops on the field and your heros at full health.
So you continue, you get to 75%, and you earn 22 cups, that's 75% of 30 cups total.
This will make earning cups easier, therefore more people will raise their cups, and now the champion league is saved.
