Is My Army Too Expensive For TH5?

I usually attack with 8 level 2 giants, 4-6 level 2 wizards, 26-34 level 2 archers, and 25 level 3 barbarians. I also occasionally use a level 1 lightning spell. This costs about 20-25k elixir (+15k if I use the spell) and it does work often, but I'm wondering if I'm spending too much and should simplify my army?

If you're finding a lot of good loot, (i'd call it around 70K maybe for a TH5) the army is fine. But if you're finding bad loot (meaning you can't build another army for what it costs or just not enough to meet your needs in general) I'd use a simple army like BARCH, half barbarians and half archers.

I rarely find 70k+ loot lately. :|

You really shouldnt need an army like that at TH 5, and if you do, you're too high up in trophies.

I hover between 990-1070 trophies most of the time. Should I try farming instead and lower the count? I'm sticking with the BARCH army since it is pretty cheap and working well.

BARCH is the answer for every Trophy and Farming army combos :rolleyes::o

If you're wondering if it is, it probably is.

BAG (BaRb, archer goblin) with a few giants for distraction and of course WB's. I am a TH 9 and will rob all of you blind with dirt cheap troops. I don't use spells either. Expect me.

You are fine if you next till you find atleast 100k of each resource and 3 star the base.

I did the same at th5 and cruised right through it. I might have even used more wizards.
