This has potential... I feel...
Maybe 15 gems for 30 min shield... (12hr cool down)
and 25 gems for an 1 hr 1/2 shield. (24 hr cool down)
This would allow us to not get raided between class periods!
As for Champs, this would be useful, since Champions can't use their 1 week shield.
As for cons, This would allow players to beat the 8 hour kick-off thing.
Since, after playing coc for 8 hrs straight, you get kicked off. This would not happen if they implement your idea.
This would allow cheeters, who use the "lego-screen toucher-thing" to "stay active," having the lego move the screen for 8 hours... Then, after 8 hours, they would simply buy the cheap shield, wait 1/2 hr, and then continue using the lego cheet.... You have to come up with a patch before they implement it.
