Dark support troop, Spider

Okay, I know a spider has been suggested, but I looked at the other ideas and none of them were the same. And let's face it, nobody notices if an idea is posted on an already existing thread.

My friends and I were talking and one of them said there should be a spider. We talked and figured we had a good idea so I'm posting it.
Training Cost: 120 dark elixir
Training Time: 15
Troop Occupancy: 12
Damage Per Second: 0 (I'll explain)
Hit Points: 400
Movement Speed: 20
Favorite Target: Defense
Troop Description: This is a support troop like the healer...u might've noticed the lack of DPS in the stats. The reason is that they have entirely new stats!
Slow rate: x2
Slow time: 6 seconds
When shooting an inferno tower: The webs decrease the dps (since u can't really slow it down) by 25%
Type of attack: Single-target/Projectile
Now, those stats refer to the spider's ability. If u noticed, it targets defenses...why? U might ask..it doesn't do any damage. What it does do however is slow down the rate of defenses' attacking. A spider has low HP, so u want a meat shield like Golems to bust in, then u drop a spider and it comes in and slows down the defenses. It's like a healer in the sense that it'll shoot webs from a distance, and move on to the next one it sees while the webs wears off. After a suggestion from Julezwatts, the troop will also affect CC troops and Heros.

No it seems good the way it is. Its cost is low, The Hit Points is low, The Training Time is short, and the Housing Space is decent. :)

Increase the Cost to 100, and the Training time to 15 mins, and the Housing Space to 12. :)

Supercell won't read this though and the spider that someone designed is perfect but again supercell just over looks everyone's great idea I feel

I agree but

but a witch costs 150 de lvl 1 and take up 12 space and if u hav 2 golems, spiders and wizzies that would be OP GO WISP and do spiders climb walls

I still looooooooove this idea and would use it on TH 10 and maybe th 9 if u can get it then, in the meantime on my th7 I will garch

In quick response, no the spiders do not climb walls...I figured that just be way too OP...besides, that's what hogs do basically. And honestly, if a specific troop combination is OP then good for it. What matters is whether the troop is OP. Do u think balloonian strategy ain't OP? Of course it is! Same with lots of other strategies. That's the point is to find a good strategy.

Thanks :) ...u wouldn't need this anyways until u reached TH 9/10 because it'll cost a lot to upgrade the dark barracks no doubt.

I like the concept very much! However, perhaps give it a preference to attack CC troops and heroes before going for defenses, and you may want to reduce the slow time a little bit. With some tweaks this would be a very interesting troop that could bring a new level of play into the game.

Nicely done!

Thanks for the feedback! While I don't think it should target the CC troops and heroes first, I made it to where it will target them. I also reduced the slowing time stuff.

Cool idea!

This is a very creative troop and has many possibilities! A bit difficult to understand, and a few tweaks should be added (such as more health, since it needs to go towards defences), but a great idea either way!

The idea the look so bad. Its decent. But it just needs a little more tweaks. Just like DE should cost more than just 100DE and increase health alil bit. :)

So main thing is it needs more health...and yeah I guess that makes sense since it targets defenses...I'll tweak that :)

Yeah, I just looked at stats for the healer, and she takes 14 spots and 15 minutes to train...I guess 12 and 12 will work...but I still wonder if I should up the cost a bit...either that or lower the slow rate...

Very original idea, very good too. I like how it is a a support troop too. This should definitely be put into the game. But maybe make its movements speed either 16 or 24, so it fits in with the other troops' speeds. Also maybe make it cost 120 DE, take 15 minutes to train, and have 8, 12, or 14 housing space. That way it's not too OP. Also, what are the rates of slowness on the defenses? And how does it effect Inferno Towers?

And in the picture, shouldn't it have 8 legs? Not 6?

Great but giving the spider a small amount of dps would, in my opinion, make it more useful for 15 housing space.

It's a support troop like the healer...instead of doing the attacks itself, it makes it easier for other troops to deal damage

Splash damage wouldn't accomplish much since defenses usually ain't right next to each other

This is a troop idea meant to be instituted later on in the game. Currently the offense is OP. Supercell needs to make better defensive measures before new offensive stuff should be added
