3 pekkas, 3 drags, 5 wizards, 10 barbs, rest archers.
This allows me to get 2 stars on any th8 and a lowish th9.
Well i meant any strategies for the whole clan to do. Not individual attacks..
Well first of all put your base into the best trophy base you can find from the forums, google search, other players, etc.
Next, make a army that uses strong powerful troops such as giants, hogs, dragons, pekkas, etc.
Also, make sure that the majority of the people in your clan attacks during the war. This can cost your clan countless of stars and even a loss if too few people attack.
All in all, that's all I got.
We are like 17 - 3 - 1 or something.
DO NOT let people bottom feed. that is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed and makes it so the lower and mid guy's in you'r clan have nobody to attack. wich is an instant loss. Probly half the clans we have warred end up having their top 3 guy's taking out our bottom 3. We know we have won the war at that point.
Make sure people log on and attack. After every loss we have gone through and cleared out the people who have not attacked 2 wars in a row. Eventually we will end up with 20 full time players who use both their attacks every war.
Being a co-leader I constantly have to send a clan mail telling the lower guy's to pull and kill the cc troops and hero's. BEFORE launching their general attack. Keep doing it until it is drilled into peoples heads that they HAVE to do that. most of our guy's are doing this now and it earns a ton of stars in and of itself.
Have an active clan where people talk and ask questions. Most people who play this game simply Barch bases over and over and over. they do not know how to put together an actual 3 star attack and execute it correctly. They say "well i have trophy pushed up to master 2!!" So what? That has nothing to do with being able to consistently take out an even lvl TH as you'r own in a 3 star manner. When people ask questions, they learn. If somebody dosnt chat and become an active member of the clan, boot them. find someone who is.
Push you'rself. Try to take out a guy 1 or 2 places up from you'r recomended target. Just dont push to hard to where you have no chance of getting atleast 2 stars. This comes in handy in those close wars where every star counts and theirs still a couple weak bases of the enemy that have no been touched. then who cares, have a th8 guy smoke it, get the 3 stars and win.
Be nice to people who want to learn how to attack better but suck at the moment. Teach them dont berate them. those are the type that will get better and end up being valuable long term members.
I feel for you man. I consider my clan lucky to have pulled 2 wins of 3 wars. We are relatively new and I have the same problems as you. People attacking bases that have been 3 starred, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed, not luring clan castle troops only to have a dragon take out all their giants, then wondering why they can smash inactive bases for 100% doing the same thing, etc. Me and my Cos have begun trying to teach them how to lure heroes and cc troops through battle replays. currently in a war, so im hoping all my lessons helped the weaker, less experienced members.Quote:

Since we started our clan we are 9-4 in Cw which I feel is pretty decent and we have done it by following a lot of what nikki said in a previous post in addition to the following:
1. Have a couple of your better attackers save their attacks for the latter half of the war to hit bases that are untouched and get stars or if a lot of bases have been hit but just one starred to come through and clean those up.
2. Make sure that CC requests for an attack for clan wars are filled specifically to the request ie. someone asks for hogs and they get 20 archers. It's not that big of a deal but then that person has to drop them on gob map and then wait until they request again which is just a pain.
3. We win most of our wars through sheer participation by everyone in the clan using both of their attacks, if they didn't use at least one they got the boot at the end of the war. Our clan is a war specific clan and we let people know that prior to joining we go to war every other day. The wars we have lost have been to a clan who as a whole attacked extremely well.
4. Constructive Criticism - have the better attackers watch attack replays and give guidance and advice to those who are the weaker ones.
5. From the bottom up. If you want to win 3 star bases from their worst base up to their best base. It is pretty impressive to see your #1 guy hit their #1 guy, but when he gets 75% and only one star when he could have 3 starred an untouched th8 with the same attack.
6. Kick the th snipers who snipe early in the war with bk or barch and that's all they do, clan wars is about working together towards a common goal not individual ones. Advise lower levels to snipe higher lvl th towards the end of the war if they have attacks left and you have the war in hand to give them a big loot bonus.
7. This one is an obvious one - make sure everyone has th inside walls and cc as close to centered as they can. everyone should have max CC for their th level. If you have cc outside of walls it takes less time to lure giving them more time to attack. I have seen an attacker waste a whole minute trying to lure a cc and kill all the troops.
These are just some of my tips let me know what you think!

Always try to have your weakest players attack first! Then once the bottom half has done their best, in the last few hours the top half can 3 star lower bases, or attack higher bases if the clan is behind.
