Dragons: Overpowered?

Nothing in the game is overpowered. The only thing that will make them overpowered is how you use them.

I guess drags are good unskillfully dropped in a pack all together then. Just kidding. But dragon strategies don't take much skill in raids usually...

With freeze you could 2 star that same base with a myriad of troop combos and probably 3 star sometimes (hogs anyone?) so would that make all those troops OP?

Reality is drags are great tanks that wander wherever they please but even lower level air defenses can shred them over time since dragons don't target defense. You have to be pretty experienced at herding and steering the dragon cattle to get 'easy' 2 or 3 star victories with them at your TH level unless you are going against a TH 7 IMO (OK maybe 8 too). Their DPS is OK but not great and they fly so slow that time is always a big factor in trying to three star TH 9 or 10s.

"Overpowered" to me means you can deploy full loads and pretty much 99.9% of the time, without regard to the base layout or levels and be ensured victory.

At times in the game, Archers, PEKKAs, Minions, Hogs have all been pretty much no-brainers for deploying max troops and watch a base fall. Supercell monitors stats for millions upon millions of daily attacks for trends and makes adjustments as necessary though.

Do max dragons on max bases win with almost certainty? No.

Can skilled players with max dragons use strategy and obtain a victory on many types of base layouts? Sure. But... so can folks well versed in the use of Balloons, Hogs, GoWiWi, even experienced Barchers can get 1-star on most bases.

That's just my personal opinion, in the right hands, just about any troop or troop combo can be lethal if up against the right village layout.

Another case of serious "everyone who disagrees with me is a troll"-itis.

We have top players using balloonion, hogs, gowiwi...should we nerf those too?

There are people reaching champs on barbarians and archers alone...

Lol just genius.

I'm pretty sure SC added a 4th AD for this exact reason.

next thing you know grass and lv1 walls are OP too. Don't forget water and weeds!
