Farming Lvl 9 Walls - Is it worth it?

You guys do realise wb's are raged a lot when they go for core

I just finished my lvl 9 walls at th9... I think it was very much worth it for the simple fact that you don't have to farm them at th10.

I have two similarly leveled TH 9 accounts, one with mostly level 7 walls and some level 8, the other with mostly level 9 and some level 10. Walls don't make much of a difference, every once in a while it's the difference between a 46% and a 52% or them not getting that last storage but overall the ROI is just terrible.

I maxed my TH9 def and lab and had only 50% legos/50% skulls. I couldn't stand the idea of idle lab and builders for months, so I upgraded to TH10 and haven't regretted it for even 1 second. I got another 30-40 legos done in the first few weeks at TH10 while doing lix upgrades, but then in the 4 months it took me to max TH10 def I only managed to get a handful more walls done. Now I only have walls, heroes and a few traps to do and I'm enjoying knocking the walls out pretty quickly now. I can't say that I lost any more loot or CW battles as a result of not having maxed legos.

So as long as you don't expect to get too many walls done while doing TH10 def, I'd say press the button and enjoy the new toys.

Couldn't put it any better myself. We are in nearly the exact same position, were in the exact same position, and feel the same.

I for one did not want to waste any time faffing around with only walls heroes at th9, nothing else, when I could be enjoying the new th10 toys and extra upgrades.

I would say, unless you really really really want your walls to be 9 before, then do it, otherwise, don't lose any more time and upgrade that th!

I went to th 10 will all maxed defenses, level 8 walls and a few level 9 ones, probably about 15 or 20. I;m going to carry on doing walls once all my town hall 10 defenses are maxed, otherwise I'll probably lose interest too quickly.

Thanks for the input. I believe that I am going to farm lvl 9 walls due to the "looks" and wallbreaker difference.

No no I guess I worded that wrong, I have 4 builders, 2 for heroes 1 for walls and then a spare. so technically I will have 2 idle builders my mistake

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read this! Jump spell! Really? I've been th9 for 6 months and I've seen less than 10 jump spells in that entire time and have never seen one that was done successfully.

Under 2200 trophys the vast vast vast majority of attacks are giant based. Which means walls are a big deal, especially in the core. From 2200-2800 they get less important because all you see is loons and hogs, and then once you get way up high they become important again cuz of GoWi armies.

I personally will have all legos and 20-30 lavas when I go to th10. Not only does it help you defensively it also makes you look like you know what you are doing!!!

Walls certainly get to a point of diminishing returns. The stronger the are the better off you'll be of course. But a difference between one level of walls or a massive chunk of TH10 done…the TH10 defences will protect you much more.

I did grind out the lego walls, they were not too bad, lavas are hell though. I've started those and will not complete the set, TH10 upgrading as we speak.
