Removing ANY and ALL trophy exchange for "Attacks" involving no damage given/taken

I am a brand new player of Clash of Clans and wake up every morning to find that multiple high ranking people have used my village to "derank" themselves and lose trophies (which means I gain them) just so they can continue to play against low level players.

The most recent example involved a farmer with a TH8, maxed out collectors, triple layers wall lv5 surrounded by a level 6 wall, and 529 trophies.

I have TH4, half of my walls are still lv2 (single layer), and I have my collectors at barely half of what this farmer has. However, he "attacked" me with a single barbarian at the edge of my map, then surrendered before he got close to anything - in the process I gained 17 trophies and he lost trophies.

In one night alone I gained over 300 trophies this way and now have super high level players stealing my resources at will because my trophy count is climbing and I'm still just learning how to play this game barely a week into it!

My suggestion is that if not combat is involved, no damage taken by either side, that the standard outcome should involve no trophy exchange and/or give the "victorious" defending player the option of turning down the trophies and having them returned to the "attacker." That way these punks can't force me to trophy up so I can be pummeled and plundered by FAR superior armies.

Okay, I can see your reasoning, but one day when u ain't a noob (no offense) you'll understand why people do this. I do however agree to this idea, b for an entirely different reason. I think percentage should have to be gained because people r often having the issue of accidentally hitting the screen and starting an attack they can't beat. I can't count how many times I've done this, and it really sucks.

You will find bottom feeders at all cup ranges. I'm hoping they change the match making algorithm to more along the lines of the clan war mechanics where they take a player's relative strength into account. The trophy matching system works best for the end game.

If this was implemented then people will just let that single barbarian get to a building hit it once and then end the battle so i dont think it would change much, as far as losing resources the only players that have major problems with high levels taking them are ones who have prematurely upgraded there town halls which give a them a weak base but very little loot penalty for attackers, the game can be a little frustrating at your townhall level but it will get a lot better as you progress.

also if you go to revenge and attack someone who dropped cups on your base you can do the same to them.

That'll never happen. If it did, the leader board would be full of th2s

Why don't you, you know, do the same thing and drop your trophies back down?

When you are a seasoned veteran you will find this doesn't bother you very much.

This would be impossible to avoid even if they "fixed" it to however you're imagining them to. People would willingly send out 5 or so archers to "start actual combat" and than lose purposefully to get the same affect. So no. Deal with it sire. ~ much love

Hi there everyone! In my opinion.. This is where the EXCITEMENT of the Game begins.. That's part of the game.. "STRATEGY" is the right word for it.. Other posts were right, If you will be on their level you will know why they do such thing.. Just enjoy CLASHING!!!

some of these players actually WANT to gain trophies, so try putting your townhall outside and to give you a shield and thus, stopping the trophy explosion.
