Why don't top players use their clan castles?

Clan castle are obviously the most important defense but up in champs not luring a centralized clan castle can draw your troops right to the center where you can use a lvl 6 lightning on them or freeze them. I think gowipe people do this because of the pekka's derp nature

The Clan Castle is not overrated. In fact, the value of the Clan Castle is, if anything, severely underrated.

5 Wizards though, it's a different story.

Princess ray defense is high because their alliance members give her a defense win, not because her layout is exceptionally good. For a 4k+ level player its highly unlikely to get more than 4 defense win per season. About clan castle it is important where its placed. In high level play you need to lose as less star as possible. If you keep losing 1 star in defense then its a successfull layout. Btw when valkyrie comes out of clan castle they will cause serious damage to your troops and its the last defense troop i wanna see when im on raid.

Clan Castle overrated...Thats the crazy thing I've heard on here yet!

The cc is the best deffensive structure. Add up the damage those 20 archers deal and its more then any other turret. And thats just archers. Not to mention how it screws with the attackers ai . Those 20 archers have a force multiplier of being under cannon ect protection. Stronger troops are even better. This was for the dude who was wondering if the cc is overated. Its not. As far as donating. The game is more fun in a clan with people being social. And donating works both ways. U get stuff to.

Mine is centered but usually empty. The low level troops I receive are generally useless to me. I donate max hogs, giants, archers and get lvl 2 goblins back...lol

Well yeah... The top players get shields from clanmates and if a clan mate doesn't find them and someone else does first, having no clan can trick the attacker into thinking that you don't have a clan and wouldn't have cc troops, and then the troops can come out, surprise the attacker, and screw the attack up
It's actually a good tactic
