Why don't top players use their clan castles?

So whenever I look at top level players a few things show me that they don't use their clan castles. 1) their profile says no troops received and 2) their clan castles are not centralized on defense. I have absolutely no idea how top players can succeed without using the clan castle at all! Can somebody please explain the reasoning that I am apparently missing?!

Defense doesn't really matter up there, no matter what you're getting two starred. I'm guessing that the easily lured CC is to... well they don't care about defense let's stick with that!

Specifically princess Ray has won 7 defenses though so I assume clan castle troops could help in those split decision win/losses plus princess Ray has been in the Same clan every time i look which leads me to believe that he/she doesn't hop very much

I guess it helps against BARCHing... yes there has been the rise of the BARCH, predicted by oracle Siddmaster. I guess it just prevents a one star.

How often do you look? If it isn't often than she (princess, that's a she :rolleyes:) could have hopped and returned in that time.

The bases that you see the top players having when you look at them is not the same base they go into defence with.

Just because they aren't centralized, doesnt mean they arent used ;) They are used for attacking mostly, I would imagine though

top players often display 0 donations because they hop in and out of their clan whenever they go offline, and ask clan mates (in similar trophy range) to search for them and gowiwi them gently for 1 star.

I don't get the clan castle at all. It's definitely overrated. Plus, who wants to be sending requests for troops all the time.

You must not be using it right then. It's the most valueable defense if you use it right (don't know about in champion league). The best thing about it is when the troops come out while the attacker is penetrating to the core. The enemy AI goes berserk trying to fend them off.

Yeah, you are probably right. I just never understood the point of having 20 archers come out when they basically aren't gonna do anything against a high powered attack.
