Hey guys,
I am currently at 1400 trophies and I am finding it very difficult to find bases with good loot?
Does anyone else have the same problem?
If you're town hall 8 what trophy count are you at as I am taking about 80k+ gold to find a decent raid...

TH8 is ridiculous!!!! I have been ranging from 1200-1400 trophies and it is very hard to find any matches..
Just a few minutes ago I spent 200k gold to find a match over 100,000. There was 1 over that mark just it was a fully upgraded TH9.....currently at 1241 trophies... and maybe another one but it had like 1000 Elixer.. which is so had to come by and is spent in seconds.. 50,000 - 100,000 just on troops and spells so most battles are not even worth it..
Don't get me started on clan wars..... 0 cost effectiveness there but it is a lot of fun!! loot bonuses are not bonuses, to do a dragon attack or any other higher level units you will never get your resources back that you spent!!!
I have found the best spot to be is around 1300 -1350 but its hard to stay there..... and collectors are almost worthless because they take forever to collect resources!!!
TH7 was the only good TH level that I was at so far......
I agree, I am town hall 8 and just spent 100k gold to win a raid with 180k gold, I don't want to make an 80k profit, I need more loot that this as it's taking me ages to get loot..Quote:

Thats 400 searches. TH 8 is sweet for loot and the fact that you say elixir is hard to come by leads me to believe your farming skills need a tune up.Quote:

Just spent another 80,000 still looking for a match..
1 was over 100,000 and it was a maxed out TH8 that I have 0 chance of getting even half of the resources!!
just had a match
Gold = 97
Elixir= 105
After spending 100,000 there was another maxed out TH8 = no chance
still clicking
110,000 spent and an amazing match 300,000 of each but guess what Maxed out TH9 = 0 chance
still clicking
140,00 spent no matches....had one come up 150,000 of each just now... TH9 2 X-bows and the works = 0 Chance!

160,000 gold spent and I finally get a decent match TH9 looks more like an early TH8 and I only get 143,000 Gold and 112,000 Elixir!!!! Elixir cost for the fight was 85,000
Total = Gold -13,000 Elixir+27,000
Let me know if you find loot anywhere because I made a loss of gold today searching and rebuilding traps after getting raided
You're calling me a noob and yet you are the one spamming next 400 times ( or so you claim). Elixir is the easiest resource in the game to accrue. Also the fact you can't raid another TH8 at TH8 shows me that either you need to tune up your raiding skills or change up your farming army.Quote:

Best trophy count for TH8 is 1150. reasons:
1) avoid being farmed by TH9.
2) way more TH snippers down there.
3) farm on TH6. I am doing it for 3 weeks. 50k easy profit is way better than 200 next.
Stop listening the ♥♥♥♥ of moving up... TH9s are waiting for you there.
You can try all you want but TH8 farming is dead. My two TH8s are on life support. I regret greatly for buying the 5th builders. stupid me. would never spend a penny on this game.
Would love to see a lucrative trophy range. Currently pushing up to gold 1 because some clannies said there was some nice inactives up there.
