Clan City <<< MUST READ, 2nd COOLEST IDEA YOU CAN FIND IN THE FORUM
Overview
Clan City is basically an enlarged village, about 3 times the size of the normal one. It works like a normal player's base, but all clan members will be responsible for it. All members can donate Gold/Elixir to this base whereas the outcome resources are Dark Gold and Dark Elixir. Collected resources will be divided among member. The way clan attacking each other will also work differently to prevent over-powering. You are very welcome to read the rest of it.

Introduction
First of all, I KNOW THIS IDEA IS IN THE STICKIES SECTION, but I want to add more details and more elements into it. I have suggested this in the forum before, but I want to perfect and make more details to it. Also, the name of this game is Clash of Clans, so why not make them clash more? Although the Clan War update is up, but the war still focus individually to all players.
The BIG Picture
This Clan City is three times the size of village’s size in a hexagon shape. There will be Dark Gold Mine and Dark Elixir Drill to get resources and more defences buildings since the city is big. The city is part of a map called the Clan Map, where all cities at the same level will be found and the cities are separated by river. At the same time, 6 ports will be found at all corners. They can launch ships which hold troops to launch attack at another city by travelling through the river.
Now you get the big picture, so I will go into the details.
Buildings
Main Buildings
Clan Tower
It is like a combination of Town Hall and Clan Castle, and it can store up to 50 spaces of troops. The higher the level it is, the more buildings the city has and more troops the tower can hold.
Clan Castle
Clan Castle works the same like what they have currently, but you can have 4 of them and it is very important because other clans will gain a star by destroying four of them. (more will explain later on).
Factory
A place where ships will be upgraded to hold more troops and travels faster. Stronger ships will also be able to upgrade.
Port
Unable to upgrade, but graphics will change along with the clan tower’s level. (What is the logic of having a ship but no port?)
Builder’s Hut
It is free and you can have 8 of them due to the large amount of buildings.
Resources Buildings
Gold/Elixir Storage
It works the same, but limit up to 8 of them for each resource. (16M Gold? Interesting)
Dark Elixir Drill
It works the same, but limit up to 8 of them. (800 DE per hour, sounds cool!).
Dark Gold Mine
My original idea is using gems, but I realize is too OP, so I design a new resource which can be used in the Dark World (I will explain this later). It is limited to 8 of them, with the same production rate as DE Drill has.
Dark Gold/Elixir Storage
Same concept, but only limit to 2 of them, because they will be distribute to all clan castle every day. So each member only gets a share of it.
Defences Buildings
Maximum amount for the following buildings: 10 Cannons, 10 Archer Towers, 450 Walls, 6 Mortars, 6 Air Defences, 6 Wizard Towers, 4 Hidden Tesla, 4 X-Bows and 3 Inferno Towers.
Army Buildings
Army Camp
It is limited to 8 of them as ALL members can donate troops to either Clan Tower/Clan Castle/Army Camp. Dark Barracks troops cannot be donated.
Spell Factory
It is limited to 2 of them but lightning spell cannot be created (or it will kill all CC troops).
Gameplay
Clan Map
This is a very large map consists of Clan Cities of different levels. The level is depend on the number of trophies and the number of members. It can be group in this following:
- No. of members: 0-5, 6-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50
- No. of trophies: Unranked, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Master, Challenger
So the number of map will be 42. All the Cities will be in hexagon shape and they will be separated by rivers. Lakes may be found to fit a new city. If the City’s level in a map is too close, SC may add 2 tiers to each rank or specified the number of members more
Attacking
When a ship is built, the city may launch an assault to another city. The ship needs time to travel. After the time, the ship will launch the attack and earn resources. When a ship is taking revenge, it will travel twice the speed. In this Clan Map, attacking will work slightly differently because there are 5 stars to earn in a battle. 1st star for 50% destroyed, 2nd star for all Clan Castle destroyed, 3rd star for 90% destroyed, 4th star for Clan Tower destroyed, 5th star for 100% destroyed. When a city lost a star, it will gain a global shield for a day and a shield from the attacker for 7 days. When the city lost 2-2 stars, it will gain a global shield for 2 days and a shield from the attacker for 10 days. When the city lost 4-5 stars, it will gain a global shield for 3 days and a shield from the attacker for 14 days.
Ambush
When a ship is travelling, the third party may send an ambush ship which consists of only 50 spaces of troops and travels 1.5 times faster. By killing 20% of the troops on the ship, the ship is sunk and all the troops will die instantly. The third party will not get any loot.
Clan Alliance
An alliance may be form within clans with a maximum of 5 clans in an alliance. A chat will be made for them which consist of Elders and above. They cannot donate troops/resources to each other, but they will receive notifications if one of them raids a base or get raided.
Clan vs. Clan League System
It is with un-ranked, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Master and Challenger tiers only. The trophies earn/loss will be lower so it will take quite a while to be promoted/demoted.
Global Chat
A chat group found at the right bottom corner which can share replays to other cities in the same map.

Positions of Clan Members, credits to SpiderPig
I don’t fully agree with his idea, so I made some changes
Leader - a leader, no changes
Co-Leader - a person who is voted by members instead of chosen by the leader
Grand Elder - have power of current co-leaders
Elder - stays the same
General - able to accept and invite members, nothing else
Active Members- members who donate in a ratio of 2:3 and update the village frequently (set by Supercell)
Members - stay the same
On trial - a warning to the members that they did something wrong
Prisoner - cannot donate
Criminal - cannot donate and request
Time bomb - can chat only, and will kicked out automatically after a time period
Clan Chat
• Able to share base layouts (from MasterMind) - to change city’s design
• Able to start a vote or poll - to decide attacks who and vote for the co-leader

Leader/Co-Leader:
• Dismiss Clan Tower/Castle Troops
• Ambush Ships
Grand Elders:
• Edit City Layout

Connections with the Dark World
If you are an active member in the forum, you might notice about my previous post: the Dark World, http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...The-Dark-World. If you are too lazy to read, you only need to know these points from that post: It is a new world for experience players (kind of like a restart). There are new dark troops and a new resource: Dark Gold. This section is about what Supercell can add if they implement both ideas.
Dark Gold Mine/Dark Elixir Collector in CLAN CITY
The production rate will be equivalent to current Gold Mine/Elixir Collector’s. Also, all members will receive DG/DE according to the amount of Gold/Elixir they donate. The DG/DE will be transferred down to the storage at the Dark World. If the member does not have access to the Dark World, the Dark resources will be kept in their own Clan Castle, with storage of 50,000/100,000/200,000 at first three levels. They will only receive 3% of the amount they receive, so the remaining 97% will *POOF* gone from thin air. This is to give them a slight boost when they go underground just like current players have.
Troops Transferring
Dark troops from the Dark world can transfer to the player’s village, but they cannot be donated to Clan City.
Outcome
These three worlds: Clan City, Village and Dark World will be helping and assisting each other. Village can donate troops and resources to Clan City, Clan City will giving resources to Dark World while Dark World’s troops can be transferred back to Village. Pretty cool, huh?
Conclusion
I’m quite sure Supercell wants to implement this idea at the very start because that is the true meaning of Clash of Clans. But, they met obstacles that are pretty hard to remove, like: if the income going to be Gold/Elixir, what will the outcome be? It can’t be gems (or they will bankrupt) or Dark Elixir (because not all players has storage for that). This post actually combines two different ideas of mine: The Clan City (duh…) and the new map idea, where troops are literally send for battles.
Just like what I said in the previous post, most of you will agree on this, but too much programming to do, it’s like creating a game. This post is more like a place for me to gather my ideas, and somehow use them in the future. If they manage to add this in, although I strongly doubt so in near future, Clash of Clans will definitely be the first grossing game again in App Store and Play Store.
