Dear forumers,
I just rechieved a $15 giftcard from my clan for mvp of the month. My current gem balance now is 2500, and I wonder, how to spend them in the best way? I am a close to maxed th 8 (except for walls 2x teslas 1x Archer Tower). I am considering to save it an spend it on DE for lvl 5 hogs, or maybe fill my storages up when TH 9 for some expensive upgrade. What do u guys think?

Earn more of all from boosting barracks.
If you have the builders then I would totally agree boosting racks is the most efficient. You might however wish to give something back to your clan by gemming them CW troops.
Don't have time to play that much
No question - get your fifth builder.
I just looked at your town. I know all four of your builders are sleeping, and it might seem like you won't need a fifth. But, trust me, if you are in the game for the long run, get your fifth builder and get him sooner rather than later. You can always keep them busy with teslas. Upgrades will take longer and longer at th9 and 10.
Is this true? I don't think I can keep them busy... Can only clash a few hours a dayQuote:

With my TH8, I made 3M gold and 1M elix (profit) in those 2 hours. And I'm really bad at farming (I hate collector raids). If you can do this a couple of days, you could finish those defense and start your TH9.
2500 gems is 50 sessions of 50 gems. That's over two months worth of boost if you're not playing often. Most of the time, I gathered enough in 1.5 hours that I could stop even if my bosst is not finished.
Like somebody said, take the time to send some big donations to your clan while on boost. level 5 wiz, level 3 drags.
Try to gather some dark elixir while on boost. The queen will cost you and arm and a leg. But if you gem all that DE, it will cost you too much.
I spent over 1000 gems boosting barracks and it's the only way to keep up with my 4 builders, playing only a couple of hours a day.

Yes. Each tesla takes 56 days to max and are not expensive. But you will find many, many upgrades that take 10-14 days. Even playing a few hours per day, you will save plenty.Quote:
