For the last hour I keep getting disconnected while 'Find a Match'. Now after I stayed on an opponent for about 5 sec I will get a disconnect message and game restart. The gold is deducted nontheless.
Anyone else having this problem? Are they fixing the ghosting issue and inadvertantly introduced this problem?

I'm having this problem too. Glad it's not just me, I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong my end.

I rebooted my ipad and problem solved.
I restarted my iPad multiple times, it still doesn't work. I can get on my village just fine, but I can't attack.
My bet is the issue is with your Wi-Fi connection being unstable rather than anything Super-Cells end.Quote:

Is your router net-gear? Apple have issues with netgear routers, if the problem don't go away change your Wi-Fi networks name, that'll force the device to create a new record for it and probably solve the issue
I've already tried restarting my router, it didn't work. My friends seem to have the same problem so it's not just my internet. Also, the disconnection always happens immediately after the first village loads when I go attack and there are no signs of bad internet (target loads quickly), so it doesn't seem like my iPad is losing internet connection. The consistency of the disconnection message (happens EVERY SINGLE TIME when I go attack) seems fishy to me. Hopefully SuperCell fixes this soon, I need to get back to farming :/
there's a few different disconnection messages this game kicks out, which one are you getting?
also, is it when you click 'next' to progress to the 2nd opponent? or when you press to start dropping troops on 1st opponent?
I'm getting "Connection lost. You have lost connection with the server. Check your internet connection and try again."
I get that message right when the first village loads, before I can even drop a troop. So it doesn't make sense to me that the village loads but there is no connection.
thats is happening to me too. also sometimes it says "out of sync with server" . random connection drops. multiple attempt after drop is required to connect again. my net connection is fine. already checked that
To fix this issue for IOS users please hold your home button and your power button for 12 seconds at the same time
Also reboot your wifi.. I know some of you know it isn't your wifi but this helps.
nope still not working. a simple restart isn't going to work.
When connecting to Super Cells servers you have an underlaying connection and then chunks of data sent along it. If you're not doing anything to prompt the connection to verify itself the game can keep running for several seconds after you've actually lost the connection. I've noticed this after turning my Wi-Fi off. This is because your device has the data it needs to keep running the game and isn't being prompted to get any new data.
It sounds like when you're getting sent the data to display an enemy village it's too much for your under-laying connection to the server to hold. Like driving a tank down a narrow road, anything else just gets pushed out the way or stuck waiting behind it.
this would seem like a bandwidth issue. It could quite easily be super-cells issue, if their servers aren't kicking out enough juice then people who were getting borderline connection speeds anyways could start to suffer.
can also happen if something else on your device is eating your available bandwidth. install anything else recently?
I experience the same problem since a half day ago, and don't think it is cause by my internet connection.
Note that every thing, constructing, donating, chatting, ..., every thing in the game is fine unless I'm about to deploy troops to opponent's base. There is only this single moment that causes this "disconnected from server" problem, even if it is an offline war!
Lots of Chinese players have this same issue. I've known at least 30, and all solved it by using vpn. I think may a server for a certain area crushed.
This needs to be fixed ASAP! I cant raid because it keeps saying connection lost. At first I thought it was my internet but it's not. Supercell you need to fix this as soon as possible
Clash of clans uses the same server for Android and iOS users.
This issue may persist due to many different reasons.

I'm also in China, and some players are having the same problem as well, but I resolved this issue on my iPad. Basically what I did is went to Settings>Wifi, clicked the blue information icon (iOS7) next to the current connected wifi (at the top), and under DHCP, change the DNS to 8.8.8.8. This is Google DNS server. Someone (either the internet service provider or the Chinese government) blocked this specific connection to the Supercell IP server for attacking, and so by accessing the Google DNS, which always returns the correct IP to pair with the domain, it will work. Previously, with the old DNS, it returned the incorrect IP when you gave the domain, so that was why it was losing connection whenever I was attacking.
