It would make pushing loot substantially better. If you're happy farming, you could continue to do so. However, the reason why most people farm now is because it's more profitable than pushing. It's rather stupid that this is so.

The puny loot bonuses help none whatsoever. It looks like a lot of loot, but you-- correction-- I lose more than that every defense up there. If Supercell tripled the loot bonus, it might be some meager incentive. People complain about clan wars loot, but I think it's way better. If your clan wins very often, for me, that's over 500k loot from 2 attacks, plus 1.5k de. That's a lot for two battles, for an inefficient th8 like me.
I'm afraid I have to agree with both of u. Farming shouldn't be more profitable than pushing, however the amount of loot u lose when u push is ridiculous! Something needs to be developed in order to change this. I believe we can all agree on that factor.

Bigger bonuses, faster building troops, and better collector rates would easily offset the loot losses. The most you can lose is 400k. Imagine if the league bonuses were 500k and you could build powerful armies in the same amount of time that you can build weaker armies at lower trophy leagues.
I say that because 400k is the max you can lose from storages. When you climb high, your base gets raided quite quickly after logging off.
The only way you could have 200k loot in collectors is if you don't bother to collect them within the 12 hour period that you're shielded. This is 200k you'd lose regardless of what you're trophy level is.
Farming will always be the most profitable.
That's what farming means.
It's raiding to maximize the loot you make.
(There are no other conditions to how farming works, TH outside trophy range etc are all just various ways that people achieve loot as fast as they can)
If loot bonuses for high leagues could make farmers more gold than barching repeatedly in low crystal, that's what farmers would be doing.
