A lot of people says "It's just dumb kids, ignore them" isnt that offensive as well?
And there's no point in arguing about this stuff in a game, it's hard enough IRL.
Personally I see both sides of the debate at hand.
Sure you have been banned from chat for conveying your belief , but what's to say that its actually the correct one that you've grown up with?
Prepare to be shocked peeps , clash is international.
I've travelled to 1st 2nd & 3rd world countries where having your own opinion can land you in jail. Or worse.
The core community you're immerse in can somewhat define your values , some people develop opinions over time as their eyes are opened to the world.
Acceptance of others is quite possibly the hardest value to teach and be taught.
But it can be taught at some level of mutual understanding.
Although I personally haven't been banned from global I can be sympathetic to the inconvenience of it.
Or you can try my secret to global chat success.
Ready? Pen and paper cause I'll only post this once.

As a christian, seeing bull♥♥♥♥ like this always makes me sad.
Interesting first post....
My advice, don't worry about a ban on global.
OP knows the game well enough to understand what can happen if you get into an argument on global.
Personally I will also enter into these debates on Global. But I know I could be banned, but so what it's only 24hrs.
The main point is not to overstep the mark which could get you banned from the game.
Personally I agree with you. And I also understand your frustration with global(I got banned for saying "hi" with a champ badge). But same ♥♥♥ marriage falls under the category of "just don't go there" with religion and politics. I hope the forum is mature enough to handle this post. But I doubt it.
I don't know why I get so fired up by this stuff but it makes me upset. Yes global is not a place for discussions on politics, religion, sexuality. In fact I see global overall as really horrible place. I get that a lot of hateful, spiteful comments are because of adolesence children who's moral compass might not be always pointing in the right direction but as someone in another post just said, if you can show one person that there is a different side to the story or to stand up for ones human rights that is something to be proud of. To the original OP i salute you for taking a stand when it seems no one else would, unfortunetly there is a lot of people in this world still living a hundred years in the past with some of their beliefs but we also have to be tolerant to them as well since they where most likely raised that way. It's very hard to break a cycle of hate that has been ingrained into people/countries/religion/politics, but time will prevail as well as people taking a stand.
Just think a hundred years ago in North America a woman didn't have the right to vote, because of some strong willed people history was changed (again not world wide), a hundred years from now maybe we will be living in a more sophisticated world were ones sexuality/religion/poitical beilefs are tolerated and discrimanation doesnt exist. Hopefully the forums can be a place were people are more tolerant but i have very strong suspisions that people will either bash my post or ignore it.
Sorry if our beliefs differ but basing opinions on ones sexuality is the same as basing your opinions on someones skin colour, discrimination takes many forms. Good day hopefully I didnt feed the hate trolls too much.
