Hey guys, I'm new to the forums.
Just wanted to get some feedback on my base. I got the idea from another base but altered it to my liking.
Where would you guys attack me from? What should I change (although I can't stand an asymmetrical base :()?

Looks quite good actually.
But I find the splash towers abit too expose.
Top left and top right wizard tower.. bottom left and bottom right mortars.
Yeah, gave that a bit of thought... but the xbows keep cancelling their attack by attacking so fast that I decided I'd rather it actually do some damage instead of none if it more protected. Also, if they were to attack from one side, they are so split up that the others would eventually get them :)Quote:

Looks good. Regarding the exposed WTs and mortars, I would switch them with the Elixir/Gold tanks in those same compartments. Use the tanks as meat shields while your WTs & mortars go to town behind them ;)
Do you get lightninged a lot?
The base looks good but if I were you I would go for maxing your wizard towers and not your cannons. A wizard tower level 7 might be a tad more expensive but is way more worth it; it one hits level 5 goblers! Base looks good, but a bit too exposed on the splash dmg. As you said the xbows keep cancelling the wiz tower's attacks, but how does it help you to put the wiz towers so exposed then? Xbows will cancel their attacks at long range as well right?

How is it? And yeah I know about the x-bows... but I didn't know where to put them previously so I put the splash towers outside so they could at least attack before they were in range of the x-bows. But with the new one I think it does okay, except for mortars constantly restarting the attack animation when people raid me from the bottom.
Anyway, feedback for new arrangement? :P
edit: and yay, DE storage is a bit more protected and my other resources won't be collateral damage from Lightning attacks! :D

I like the new modifications. One suggestion I have is switching those Wizard Towers and Mortars to spread the fast & slow splash damage more evenly. Essentially, you want to have 2 equilateral triangular configurations, 1 for your 3 Mortars, and 1 for your 3 Wizard Towers. HTH
I agree, becasue with old layout, troops could get a little further in without being shot at with splash damage.Quote:

Hmm, I agree with you guys but with the xbows with such far range making wizards and mortars not be able to attack (and also people mainly attack me from the bottom), I think it's best to do this layout which I have modified from the previous one:

Xbows and Teslas are centered making it hard for them to cancel attacks from my splash towers, and people won't really bother to attack the top for 100k elixir, and making it so hard to reach the gold.
