I totally agree with some of the ideas mentioned and will modify later. Agree adding all products is a waste and maybe recording people requests is better. Lets see how it pans out.

Yes lets add the machines need to service the buidings as well.

Maybe we can add images of changes to the update spaces I reserved at the start of this thread.

Keep the ideas coming and lets work together on this.

Amazing guide. Tons of help especially with the goods required to serve customers. Having a little trouble with that, especially since nobody wants to go to the grocery store, only to the cinema that I only have one spot on. Diner requests are also a little annoying as my pie oven is backed up.

This on is for everyone wondering about upgrading shops in the town with the aim of processing as many townies as possible in the least amount of time.

Maximum level of any shop is dependant on your town level (a level 6 for instance would be able to upgrade 6 times on any combination of different upgrades combined, and not 6 times slots+6 times coin).
No previous upgrades are required to adjust slots.
A minimum upgrade of 4 is required in the shop to adjust speed.

A brief analysis of speed% bonus by adding slots:

5	25
6	20

Thus if the speed% is below the number granted in the overview an additional slot would be more beneficial if you are processing a multitude of townies in a single shop. Going by the previous speed% bonus granted by mastering machines in your farm (15% faster), it is unlikely for the speed upgrade to be superior to the slot upgrade. Also each additional slot will provide a smaller bonus to the overall speed. If in the future even more slots are available, the effect on the speed by upgrading speed might exceed the effect by upgrading slots.

I am sorry, but this is all greek to me. Can someone pls explain the meaning of this in a more simple way, seems like it can be useful info for the guide, but perhaps needs to be a bit easier to understand?

Actually you didn't. It just means you upgraded capacity before time. The guide doesn't address upgrades well as each upgrade affects the next materials needed. So first upgrade for time or capacity requires 5 iron, 5 coal, 5 silver bars. The second upgrade for time or capacity is 5 iron, 5 coal, 5 gold bars. You are doing your 3rd upgrade to the train, not the first one although it is the first one you are doing towards time.
