After a long time I was finally promoted to Elder.
Now I had to realize that there is a 20m time lock to kick people.
My question is why? You only get this position if you are reliable, right?

Let's see. Promote somebody to elder. He kicks 10 people. You demote him. Kick him. But you don't have external contact to those 10 members ... they are banned for 24h so they go somewhere else in the mean time.
20 minutes is not that long. And if you have 3-5 elders online all the time, you have plenty of boot.
Yeah, that makes sense, BUT I also have to manage the Clan and when I accept new members, sometimes I have to kick them. That means, when there are many requests it's very difficult to handle that. (when I'm alone)
If there was no cooldown your clan could get trolled in a matter of mins(one day i went to the bathroom for 3 mins and when I came back my precious clan was down from 50 members to 11) it sucks to have this happen
We recruit max 1-2 members each day so we can see what kind of people they are. We don't want somebody to bring his 5-8 friends and then they try to take control of the clan.Quote:

Global is the worst place to recruit people. You'd be better to post in your local paper :)

It should be more then enough, if your clan has the right type of clashers. Leaders /Co are in change of cleaning, and overall maintenance, you can't have solid clan relying on elders.
