[Video] What to do when you have too much elixir to waste ? Lure a TH9 in !

So, at TH8, elixir is always overflowing, even on days when your lab requires elixir for troop upgrade especially after getting level 4 DE storage, Level 3 DE drill.
So what to do with them ?
Bait a nice and juicy TH9 in of course ! :o

bedo of Nights Demons, Lv80 TH9, perfect candidate with Egg shell base and empty spawn area.

Background info: When I first click revenge, he wasn't raided at all. The second time i visited his base, he was raided once of his outside building, I was like oh ♥♥♥♥, did I just miss out on the best revenge ever ? But luckily the previous attacker didnt shield him. So I hurriedly enter the revenge battle after preparing my spells/troops/bk etc

He looted me of 22,978 gold, 187,602 Elixir, 58 Dex(due to loot penalty)

Guess how much loot he had for me to steal :)

And yeah, his CC tower and mortar was soooo tempting for me to execute the dual lightning tatic :p

Hope you guys remember the "Lure cc troop and position them at mortar" tatic hehe :o

And take note, His raid on me is recorded at the end of the video, after I finish raiding him, so watch till the end hehe.

and that's why you should never leave all your eggs in the one basket...

i was wondering what you were doing with the CC troops and kept an eye on the clock, i guess luring them out to a corner to dispose them without lightnings was a little tricky with the cannon and stuff on the outside and the mortar gone at the same time made it all worthwhile. nice play! i still can't understand the people making multi-layer walls with the new WB's splash damage...

:p Maybe it worked for him against weak attackers, since many people love to spam wall breakers even before they lay down their army, in which his xbow took care of most wall breakers well.

Haha yeah, I had 2 lightning, and I remembered the tatic that one of our forum member showed us, so I implemented it after stalking him for abit.

Actually, even with the mortar there, there are still plenty of space outside the base for me to destroy his CC troops out of defensive fire, but yeah, I thought that method was the most suitable in this scenario.

You could learn how to farm without using 3 spells. Less time (or gems).

Haha, you are one of the few that actually ask for permission before using someone else's layout haha. I wonder how many steal and ran away already XD
But sure haha. I'm still tweaking it though, since 3 of my wizard towers are currently upgrading.

I don't usually use spells at all man, didn't use a single spell at all when I raided yesterday.

But it was a special raid(baited, stalked, revenge, recorded, lv80 th9), and I didn't want to underestimate and end up a fail raid.

So I decided to go full force, and the army i've use is my regular farming army anyway, so I don't see anything wrong with it.

My level 5 troops are not as strong as your level 6 troops :p

Haha, ok. So it was more about the revenge than the farming.

P.s. don't forget that Supercell just gave us lvl6 troops so I have been farming with lvl5 troops for a while. :D

Haha yeah, One doesn't simply revenge an awesome loot+easy base without spying first.
If i want to farm, there are many other raids that could have accomplish that feat.

The "just" felt like a long time already haha. 2 months ? i think.

As a Revenge it was nice ...

But 4 spells plus the lame farmer trick (cc +mortar) doesn't make me smile ... no offense to you just saying

This design is "lootable" without a single spell and with level 5 troops :)

i know right, sometimes i see defensive replay where my enemy just spam all his troops at once. and they got distracted due to their air and go circling around my base. really lol.

On topic, the main objective of this thread is to point out how to lure TH9 into attacking us TH8 by using the extra elixir that we have.

Nah no offence to you but this method isn't preferred by me :) ( as an example this is as lame as 3 light spells on air defence )

As a revenge it was nice:) don't overuse it though because you will depend on it in the end... i am trying to avoid as much as possible spells while farming... 25 million to max my defences :)

and as a farmer, I know that well.. but why not spice it up since I had extra spells cooked up throughout the night, and a treat for my subscribers. then why not share this strategy with everybody..
