Upgrade/Building options, Request Filter, & More DE Uses
1. Upgrade/Building Filter:
this just kinda came up as an interesting idea...when upgrading/building a tower there should be an option replacing 'cancel' and 'finish now'. the button would pop up a menu (like the settings menu) with multiple options with:
-cancel
-finish now
-boost
-exchange builders
-pause
'cancel' and 'finish now' are options in-game currently. 'boost' would give you the option to boost the upgrade(x2 or x4) with gems, the longer the upgrade takes to finish, the more gems spent...because not everyone wants to spend 260 gems to finish a 24-hour upgrade. 'exchange builders' would give the option to boost the upgrade not with gems, but with using multiple builders(say I have 2 available builders, and a building upgrading for 24 hours. add the other builder [2 builders on one tower] and it becomes a 12 hour upgrade). there would also be an option to remove the 2nd builder. 'pause' would, well...pause the upgrade.
pros and cons of 'pause' and 'cancel': 'pause' allows the player to stop an upgrade without it resetting, but if its a defense, barracks, or collector, it wouldn't work. 'cancel' allows 50% refund as well as the tower working, yet the player must get that other 50% again and restart the upgrade.
2.Request Filter:
instead of typing a request for clan chat, you would select what troops you want or don't want. troops that are selected to want can be donated, troops that aren't selected are blocked and will not be put into clan castle. this would also work with troop levels.
3.More DE Uses:
-Dark Spells: I've only thought of one so far, Undead Spell. this spell would summon skeletons wherever on the enemy base. dark spells could be addition to Spell Factory or be a new building.
-Trolls(troop): basically a goblin and giant combined to create a high-healthed resource grabber. would take 5 space.
-Werewolf(troop): a large, beastly, DE hungry monster that would be invincible from defenses but would lose health every second. it restores its health only from attacking DE buildings(drill, storage. would also be first priority), not even from spells or healers. one down side of this is that as bad-A as it would be I have yet to find a good use of it...
-Kamikaze Chariot(troop): skeleton riding on a chariot of skeleton horses with a giant bomb in the cab that does massive damage but takes 8-10 space and obviously dies on impact. attacks anything.
-3rd Hero: The Ogre Lord! I like the idea of heros but I think having too many would just make the game a little dull. so why not combine the next 2 troops in the barracks to make one epic hero? would attack resources first priority, ability consists of summoning trolls that also attack resources. special power (barb king: rage, arch queen: cloak) would rage every troll and goblin on the map. I don't know what name of ability would be.
these are just some interesting ideas that I thought of, I understand that adding more troops and heros will result in an almost required boost in defenses as well, and that more DE uses leads to DE being a much more needed resource... and maybe a kamikaze in clan castle would be absolutely OP but I'm just throwin stuff out there that might change the game entirely. but the main topics of this thread really is the request filter and upgrade options.
