Wizerds and some archers, there good on both offence and defence
Wizards, Witches, and Valks are my favorite. If you get 2 Valks and the rest barbs, they'll have no idea why all their troops are dead lol
We'll I believe strong heartedly that the absolute best in defense troops would be the 4 headed hipster spider

As stated before Wizards mixed with archers are great, especially for a centered clan castle. Since the troops trickle out it takes a bit before all the troops can be lured out. Then you have the splash damage with the wizards. I've seen many replays when people thought that they lured all the troops out and a few more wizards come out and ruin their attacks.
