Recently supercell made it that spells are made of elixir.
Some people like me disagree.
So just so everyone can have a more fun and enjoyable experience I think it would be a good idea to add an option to make spells out of gold aswell, by saying this I don't mean getting rid of making spells out of elixer but make it you can make spells with gold or elixer
