Just as the title says, it would be great to have a pause button on the clan wars because personal, and my clan, hate being at war nonstop. We may have a side village for the war only but it still cost a lot to make the troops. We need something to make it were we cannot be attacked on wars.
Why not just, don't start the war?

No one can declare war against you unless you leaders allow it to happen.
Talk to your leaders about having a break inbetween wars, if they are obsessed with constant wars and they do not suit you...you would be better off finding a new clan.
Many clans have different war cycles.
You can't have war declared against you unless you start the matchmaking. Talk to your clanmates about it.
