Are Walls Worth It?

Lvl 11 walls are no help against hogs, balloons, or lvl 40 heroes with rage spells.

Look at you all high and mighty with your balloons and minions. Pretty sure if someone has the ability to get level 10 walls, that they have the ability to max out their defense and have a splendid base design. Dont know about you but not all attcks are air based, 90% are ground based. Walls are important.

I dont see how you dont see the intimidation factor. Level 10 walls are scary! They look scary because not many have them. Anything abnormal in a base is going to make you think twice before attacking. You are gonna understimate someone with level 1 walls, someone with level 10 walls you will think twoce before attacking

I'd estimate 10-20% of defense replays I see for champ players is drag/loon/hog, the rest Gollies.

Those "irrelevant" walls can often be the difference between 48% and a 50% up there and are critical for anyone wanting a slim chance of a defensive win.

I will do legos and lava core, but past that I will judge motivation levels at the time.

I would say walls are only worth it up to legos.
They take 3 un-raged max wb to smash so they are extremely helpful.

Right and if they do have those things, those are what are intimidating. I skip bases with maxed defenses and splendid base design. I don't skip them if they have crappy defenses or a crappy layout but have level 10 walls.

Their value is greatly disproportionate to the time investment required. If you disagree, max them, I won't mind.

Walls are walls. Since they are completely irrelevant to my chosen method of attack, I don't really care what level they are.

If you have Level 11 Walls, noone is gonna attack you with hogs and win.

Walls help. How much is the debate (but the answer is clearly not "zero". Every air attack has the potential to use heroes afterwards to clean up. Walls can slow them down.

I completely agree that it is a pretty small benefit compared to the massive gold/time investment....but hey, you gotta spend that gold on something.

let's be realistic... if an enemy is using hogs/loonions obviously the only thing that matters are ur defenses and trap lvl... walls are completely irrelevant... with that being said, even though gowiwi is super popular i would max my defenses first and leave walls for last... in ur situation i would not waste any more time staying th9 so that i could upgrade lvl9 walls... i would upgrade my th :)
