Lightning spells and farming

I barch with 5 x lightning spells for reaching the 50% win..find that a lot of active people leave their DE drills full, presumably to bump up available DE on offer. Can't fool me with those full lvl1 drills though haha :rolleyes:

I will lighting a drill if it's full and the difference between a loss and a 50% win..storages are a waste of time if you want the win though.

Each to their own, it's war at the end of the day..and the person wanting revenge has to catch you first :D

If it helps you any, I just hit TH10 a few weeks ago and haven't touched my heroes since early TH9 in order to focus on Defenses and walls. I just shifted to full time DE farming for heroes in the last week with BARCH/lightning and it's worked exceptionally well.

My advice is that zapping is for players who are incapable of hitting DE storages with armies, and should only be used if you are too noob to even crack a single storage.

This thread is asking for advice regarding zapping on DE. If you want advice on optimum DE raiding go look for the top 50 DE looter thread and PM them, or start your own thread.

Players with max heroes did not zap DE.

For TH7: It's ok...

For TH8, TH9, and TH10: No. Pathetic if you can't rush a de storage with maxxed or almost maxxed troops.

It is completely split, 32-32...

For TH7 and to a lessor extent TH8 I can understand them doing it. They haven't been playing as long and don't quite have the army to dark elixir efficiently.

I just facepalm when a TH9 or TH10 does it. 2 or 2 1/2 hrs cooking for about 1,500 DE? That is woefully inefficient for the armies they have available to them.

I recently had a level 115 th10 zap my dark elixer, he did give me a shield. Still I thought it was quite sad. However, as I have Thought about it a little more, I am considering going on a zapping spree. I have nothing to spend my elixer on any more and can still dump gold on my walls. So if I decide to do that, watch out. Lol

If they want to waste 110k elix or so and prove to the world they have no skill fine by me. put my townhall in last night and lost about 5.5k de. Its sad how many players are so bad at clash they have to resort to zapping:confused::mad:

The anger demonstrated in this thread makes me want to zap more often even though it isn't efficient.
