Net Launcher - Defensive Building

simple suggestion for an additional defensive building;

Net Launcher

Fires a net at troops in range. All troops in the square the net impacts on become trapped in it. The net has HP and must be destroyed by the troops trapped within it before they can move and attack again. Would be a 1 shot weapon requiring gold to reload like bombs etc.

Could be upgradable to increase the HP of the net and possibly it's radius of effect.

Could make the larger heavy troops like dragons/pekka etc immune to it.

Think it'd be a nice addition and good against people who just dump one massive steaming pile of troops in one spot. Will force them to diversify and stop people complaining about whatever troop used in this manner being over-powered (like hog-riders).

I highly doubt that would be added.
- Very overpowered.
- Could end up being unfair.

I don't like this idea either as people would just plonk them all around and it would be a very unfair advantage to the attacking team. Just my personal opinion, others may think differently.

'Overpowered' would depend on how many you could build and the HP of the net.

If you could only build one and the net had 200HP then it'd only delay/stop an attacking troop for a couple of seconds.

Assuming you made a typo rather than not reading the suggestion properly in regards to a defensive building being a 'very unfair advantage to the attacking team'. you mean AGAINST right?

Good idea.. But, no no no.... Too OP...

Dune has a good point it would be a very creative way to add an aspect to the game. In the way you think about it, spring are OP cause they kill. I think it would open up a lot of new strategies with base wall setups. Giving the offense and defense something to think about. Make it a 4 square trap with a .5 second trigger and 300 health only trapping what's in the square, it adds a feeling of predictability like with the VERY powerful big bomb.
